Dove rolled out a new advertisement for their baby skincare line ‘Baby Dove’ featuring moms from all walks of life caring for their babies–and of course included a man who identifies as a ‘mom’.
The advertisement starts out with a woman saying, “Everybody has ideas about what it means to be a good mom and most people feel they have a license to tell you what they think it means to be a good mom.’
Then the screen flashes to a cute little saying, preparing the audience for the ‘new mom’ — “Moms are redefining what it means to be a ‘good mom'”
The advertisement shows young moms caring for their babies, saying their grandma’s and great grandma’s give care taking advice but in defiance, they are their own woman who ‘has to stand her ground’. Hmmmm ok…
Enter in the transgender ‘mom’:
We are both his biological parents. You get people who are like ‘what do you mean you’re the mom? I’m like yep! We’re both gonna be the moms!’
The transgender ‘mom’ acts nonchalantly like it’s totally normal that as a man he can actually be a mother as well. In reality, he’s a man who just dresses as a woman and didn’t actually give birth to the baby. This would make him the father for the slow group.
At the end of the commercial, the transgender ‘mom’ says, “There’s no one right way to do it all”.
The real irony is at the end when Dove gives a shout out to ‘real moms everywhere’. Yes, because a biological man is a ‘real mom’ according the mentally ill liberals now.
