Venezuelans Flock To The U.S. After Socialism Destroys Country
The Associated Press is reporting that Venezuelans for the first time now lead for Asylum requests into the U.S. as they try to flee the poverty caused by socialism in their country.

Data from the U.S. government’s Citizenship and Immigration Services show that 18,155 Venezuelans submitted asylum requests last year, a 150 percent increase over 2015 and six times the level seen in 2014. China was second place, with 17,745 requests coming from citizens of that country.
Venezuela has experienced triple digit inflation under the country’s 17 years uof socialist rule. The Department of Homeland Security’s says that Venezuela became a top 10 country for whose citizens overstay their U.S. visas in 2015 according to a report by Fox News.
Senator Rand Paul has repeatedly called out Senator Bernie Sanders for his full-fledged support of socialism using what is going on in Venezuela as an example of socialism’s failures.
