Refugee Who Was Detained At JFK Airport Tells Press He Likes Trump (VIDEO)

New York-A refugee named Hameed Khalid Darweesh was detained at JFK Airport on Saturday by customs agents then subsequently released. Protests erupted at terminal 4 as angry leftists showed outrage over Trump’s executive order temporarily barring Muslims from seven different countries.

He was interviewed by the press after he was released where he answered a few questions by reporters as he stood next to Rep. Nydia Velazquez who was protesting earlier. Take a look at the horror on Rep. Velazquez’s face as the Iraqi refugee says he likes Donald Trump! She shook her head and looked down in shame. She’s ashamed of America yet she represents New York’s 7th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Reporter 1: “What do you think of America?”

Darweesh: “America is the greatest nation, the greatest people in the world. (Applause)

Reporter 2: “What do you think of Donald Trump?”

Darweesh: “I like him! But I don’t know…this is a policy..I don’t know. He’s the President and I’m a normal person.”

What is so striking about this is that an Iraqi man who was detained and questioned by customs agents showed more respect and gratitude to the American people and our President than the leftists do in America. He’s right! America is the greatest nation with the greatest people in the world and that is because we are a free nation, a free people.
