OMG! Liberals Exhibit Faux Rage After Trump White House Removes LGBT Page

Donald Trump holds a gay pride flag at a rally in Colorado last year.

Liberal media has been in a panic the past few days after they noticed that the LGBT Rights page was removed from the White House website. First off, pages for homeland security, seniors, taxes, trade, and the economy were also all deleted.  Does that mean they also hate seniors and homeland security? No, no it doesn’t. The new administration just took office and they are adding pages with their own policies. This isn’t the first time  lying liberal media went into panic mode over LGBT issues.

Throughout the last year, and even up to today, liberal “news” organizations have claimed that Trump is homophobic. Put this to rest one last time and compare Trump’s and Obama’s LGBT record.

In 2008, Obama stated “I believe that marriage is the union between a man and a woman. Now, for me as a Christian… it is also a sacred union. God’s in the mix.” Now, I’m a Christian too, but I believe that the federal government should be out of the marriage business altogether as any constitutional minded Conservative would tell you. We want the government to have *less* power over our individual freedoms and lives, not more. Then, in 2015, after the Supreme Court ruled in favor of gay marriage, Obama stated: “We have made our union a little more perfect.” Hmmmm… interesting change there,Barack.

Trump, on the other hand, has always been consistent. When asked about gay marriage in 2000, Trump said:

“I grew up in New York City, a town with different races, religions, and peoples. It breeds tolerance. In all truth, I don’t care whether or not a person is gay. I judge people based on their capability, honesty, and merit. Being in the entertainment business—that is, owning casinos and…several large beauty pageants—I’ve worked with many gay people. I have met some tough, talented, capable, terrific people. Their lifestyle is of no interest to me.”

It is obviously “no interest” to Trump if someone is gay or straight. Trump has attended weddings for Elton John, among other celebrity gay couples he knows.

On Caitlyn Jenner (former athlete, trans Trump supporter), Trump has said Jenner could “use any bathroom she wanted.” Obama, on the other hand, decided to start catering to trans people via the federal government and was in support of “inclusive restrooms.” What does that *actually* mean? It means that public tax dollars would have gone to building NEW bathrooms with stupid signs for people who could identify as anything from a man to a woman to a giraffe.

You can ask me to call you “Potato” if you’d like, I really wouldn’t care. Hell, my 5-year-old cousin asked me to call her “Red Bird, Blue Bird”; while it was cumbersome to say, I did it. The problem to me is when folks start saying “call me potato AND pay for new bathrooms and buildings for me.” That goes against EVERYONE’S liberties and EVERYONE’S freedoms.

THIS past year, Obama decided to double down on catering to LGBT, thinking “how many minorities can I shove into a bureaucratic role” he appointed a Hispanic male-to-female trans woman named Raffi Freedman-Gurspan. Raffi was July of 2016 with the sole purpose of trying to swing the election against the Republicans. Hell, according to Facebook, Raffi didn’t even get her white house until January 3rd 2017 (a few weeks ago).  And *now* Raffi is apparently expecting a job in the Trump White House. Good luck with that one.

Hiring overpaid bureaucrats just because they are gay/trans/whatever is NOT good for this country. It is not good for LGBT people, catering to any demographic is divisive, and paying more pointless bureaucrats our tax dollars to add to our already enormous government is just plain bad.

So what should we think when “The White House Removed the page for LGBT Rights!“?

We should call bullshit on liberal baiting with identity politics. What is better, a president who literally doesn’t care if someone is gay or not, who has been to gay weddings, hired gay people, and never instituted a policy pro or against gays? Or is it better to support a president who catered to gay and trans people by taking even more of your hard-earned tax dollars to come up with new made up gender restrooms, and appoint more bureaucrats to go on TV interviews and talk about how great their administration is for gay people?

For me, I’ll go with the guy who doesn’t steal my tax dollars and shrugs the whole gay thing off with “sure, I don’t care either way.”
