Yesterday not one but two Liberal icons were presented ‘participation’ awards for their work in destroying the West. President Obama presented his own Vice President Joe Biden with the presidential Medal of Freedom and German Chancellor Angela Merkel received an honorary doctorate in Belgium.
CNN celebrated Biden’s medal ceremony by noting –
President Barack Obama surprised an emotional Vice President Joe Biden Thursday by presenting him the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor, during a White House ceremony.
According to CNN’s report, Biden responded with what every American must be thinking –
I don’t deserve this but I know it came from the President’s heart.
And a devious heart at that!
Of course, Obama made this presentation because he knew no one in their right mind would ever do the same and he still had the power to do so.
Meanwhile in Europe two Belgian universities – Louvain and Ghent – presented Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel an honorary doctorate. The Telegraph reported –
She is being honoured for her “diplomatic and political efforts to develop the political strength of Europe, and to defend the values that allow our continent to find unity in diversity”.
The time for participation awards will soon be over as President Trump in one week will usher in a world led by reason and merit.
