Green Party candidate Jill Stein filed for an official recount in Wisconsin on Friday afternoon.

Donald Trump won Wisconsin by 27,506 votes and .93% of the vote.

Stein raised more than $5 million in 48 to file for recounts in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Stein is calling on volunteers to monitor the recount process:

Thank you for your interest in supporting the 2016 Wisconsin recount.

Recounts play an important role in supporting the integrity of our elections. They also require significant resources–including volunteers to monitor the recount process.

We will need volunteers to observe the recount in every county in Wisconsin. Let us know below if you are interested in helping and receiving more information on how you can do so.

Please check your own county, and any other county that you would be willing to drive to (likely for a 9am start time).

Often, we need volunteers who can go to more remote areas outside of urban centers.

Our recount team will follow up with you soon via email as further details become available.

Will you please volunteer?
