Barack Obama is in Laos this week. Not that anyone really cares. Most Americans tuned this guy out a long time ago.
He did make a few headlines though when he called Americans “lazy” twice during a town hall with Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) members.
That’s our president!
After bashing Americans he went on to praise Laotians.
After calling Americans “lazy” twice, once in reference to acting on climate change, he said that Laos has the “youngest population” and the fastest growing economy, which Americans could in fact learn from.
He also told the audience “this is actually the region that is going to grow the fastest in the world.”
January cannot get here soon enough.
