Thousands of grassroots activists gathered this weekend at the Heritage Action Summit in Greenville, South Carolina. The group held a presidential candidates forum on Friday night. Several of the Republican nominees were present.
This morning at the Heritage Action Sentinel Summit, Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) made a surprise visit to the gathering.

Meadows explained his legislation to remove John Boehner as House Speaker. Ben Evans, grassroots Manager Ben Evans said, described the audiences reaction to the plan,
“The conservative audience was extremely excited to hear Meadows’ plan to vacate the chair of Speaker Boehner.”
There were hundreds of grassroots activists at this morning’s session.
