The Gitmo terrorists were released in exchange for deserter Bowe Bergdahl who walked off his post in Afghanistan.

The five top Taliban leaders released by Obama last year in exchange for Bowe Bergdahl were set to be released and free to travel on June 1st. But a last minute deal between the Obama administration and Qatar kept the travel ban on the dangerous Taliban members.

Khairkhwa
A federal judge ruled in 2011 that Khairulla Said Wali Khairkhwa was too dangerous to be released from Gitmo.

Obama released him anyway.

Now this…
The Obama administration tried to recruit the Taliban Five to work for the US government. Of course, this plan failed miserably. The former Gitmo detainees have 65 family members living with them in Qatar and have reached out to their old terror networks.
