An online petition was started on Wednesday by a neighbor of Kaci Hickox to obey her quarantine or lose her license.
The petition reads:
This woman was exposed to the Ebola Virus in Africa. Instead of doing her required Quarantine Time, she threatened a Law Suit and got to leave after 1 DAY of Quarantine and Allowed to Return to Maine. The intent of this Petition is to Have Kaci Hickox do her Quarantine Time without it being Voluntary or risk having her Medical License Revoked.
The petition was reportedly started by the nurse’s neighbors in Maine.

The petition’s author, Jamie Gaskey, says that she was aiming for 1,500 signatures. But thanks to Hickox’s public grandstanding and stubborn insistence on blowing off even a home quarantine, the petition has already run well past that number. As of 10 am Central time Thursday, it has well over 2,000 signatures from all over the country.
Many of those who signed the petition have also offered detailed opinions regarding Hickox’s behavior.

Kaci Hickox told The Today Show this week that there was “no way” she would abide by a 21 day quarantine.
