Four protesters were arrested last night after a crowd of around 200 people hurled bottles, rocks and a metal rod at police.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported:
Police say five people were arrested overnight during protests outside the Ferguson Police Department.
St. Louis County Police Sgt. Brian Schellman said Thursday that a crowd of about 200 encroached upon the police headquarters, blocking traffic on South Florissant Road and knocking over barricades.
Five officers were hit with rocks, bottles and a metal rod but no one was injured, Schellman said. Backup officers were dispatched to the headquarters when some in the crowd tried to break through barricades a second time.
By 2 a.m., the crowd dwindled to about four people.
The protesters also abused and harassed CNN and local KMOV reporters.
“You’re the wrong media so you need to leave.”
The protesters hurled full water bottles at police outside the Ferguson police station.

The Ferguson protest movement morphed into an angry violent mob over a month ago.
And the cost on local taxpayers is nearly six million dollars so far.
