Megan Nolen, the sister of beheading suspect Alton Nolen, went On the Record with Greta Van Susteren on Monday.
Megan and her mother posted a Facebook video over the weekend in response to the Vaughan Foods beheading.
Megan told Greta she did not think her brother was a Muslim.
Greta Van Susteren: Did he consider himself an Islamic jihadist?Megan Nolen: I honestly don’t think so. I don’t know if this was just a new venture. Alton has always been a person who liked to gain knowledge… I don’t think it had anything to do with any type of religion of anything because he grew up in a Christian household.
Greta: Did you know if he had converted into Islam.
Megan: No, I don’t think he was converted into Islam. I just think it was something he was trying to gain more knowledge on.
Alton Nolen, who goes by the Muslim name of Jah’Keem Yisrael, beheaded 54 year-old Colleen Hubbard in the front office of Vaughan Foods after he was fired on Thursday.
