On Meet the Press Sunday, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) said that President Obama has been wrong all along about ISIS, especially labeling them the “JV team.” The senator corrected the president’s assessment, calling them a “major varsity team.”
Sen. Dianne Feinstein: Jordan’s at jeopardy. Lebanon’s at jeopardy. The UAA and other countries are in jeopardy. So there is good reason for people to come together now and begin to approach this as a very real threat that it is fact is.
Andrea Mitchell: The president back in January told the New Yorker magazine, David Remnick, that ISIS is the jayvee team. That was clearly wrong.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein: Well, I think it’s wrong too. I think it’s a major varsity team.
