An Imperial, Missouri woman was charged with burglary, first-degree assault and armed criminal action after she snuck into a house late Friday and repeatedly stabbed the homeowner during a burglary.
The home owner’s son came downstairs during the attack and held the woman, Christina Fudge, at gunpoint until the police arrived.
A woman armed with a knife faces charges after deputies said she stabbed a 52-year-old man at a Jefferson County house Friday night.
Christina Fudge, 21, was charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree assault and armed criminal action.
According to deputies, Fudge entered an unlocked door at a home in the 3600 block of Morgan Way Dr. in Imperial around 10:30 p.m. so she could steal some car keys.
Deputies said the victim carried a knife in case she ran into someone inside the house.
According to deputies, the victim heard Fudge inside the house and confronted her. That’s when she stabbed him multiple times in the upper torso. The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries but was expected to survive.
Deputies said the victim’s wife and her 23-year-old son heard Fudge and his father scuffling. He grabbed one of his hunting rifles and held her until police got to the scene.
Deputies said she had been drinking liquor before the incident and was depressed over a child custody battle. She told officers she was stealing keys so she could drive over to her ex-boyfriend’s house in Iron County to murder him, his sister and her husband.

But there’s more…
I spoke with a family member today. She said after the police arrived they took the family’s shotgun.
This was after son saved his father’s life just moments earlier.
This is unbelievable.
