San Diego Democratic Mayor Bob Filner announced today that he will enter treatment in August.
FOR TWO WEEKS.
That ought to do the trick.
Filner blamed his “generation” for his groping behavior.
“The conduct I’ve engaged in at times is inexcusable. It has undermined what I’ve spent my whole professional career doing. And that is fighting for equality and justice of all people. It is simply not acceptable for me to try to explain away my conduct. It is the product of the standards of a different generation.”
Really? How many 71 year-olds do you know that kiss, grope, put women in headlocks and tell them not to wear panties at work?
What a pig.
So far seven women have accused him of improper behavior.
Two weeks ought to cure him.
He will return on August 19th.
Anthony Weiner was unavailable for comment.
