Singer Harry Belafonte joined protesters today in the Florida state capitol to demand a special legislative session to address racial profiling and the state’s “stand your ground” law.

Lee Stranahan from Breitbart News, who is at the capitol, reported that Belafonte called out the Tea Party for “racial animus.”
Belafonte said that Gov. Scott still had the opportunity to act before protests intensified and the situation in the capitol became “ungovernable.”
