Breaking: 4Liberty at Free Republic reported – I live in Los Angeles. Our San Fernando Tea Party coordinator will be testifying BEFORE CONGRESS along with 5 or 6 others at 10 AM Eastern to 1 PM Eastern on Tuesday June 4.
CSPAN DOES NOT HAVE ANY SCHEDULE SHOWING THEY WILL BROADCAST THE HEARING.
UPDATE: I plan on attending the hearing this week.
UPDATE: I just received this information from the Tea Party Patriots.
Random thoughts on the testimony:
1.) Some things are not being picked up by the mainstream media quickly so watching the hearings live on CSPAN helps get the message out to the masses.
2.) The live hearings give a much different flavor than on TV
3.) The hearings this week will focus on groups who had trouble with their applications. Many are part of the lawsuit with the American Center for Law and Justice.
Here are the Conservative groups we know will testify this week:
Kevin Kookogey – Linchpins of Liberty from Nashville. The IRS wanted high school students’ names from this group which focuses on secondary school students. (They are still waiting on their c3 status!)
John Eastman, Chairman of the National Organization for Marriage
Becky Gerritson from Wetumpka Tea Party group in Alabama
Karen Kenney California Tea Party group
