Former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin told NRA members the recent mass shootings have prompted leaders in Washington, D.C., to exploit tragedy in order to limit the freedoms of law-abiding people. Sarah blasted the media at the annual NRA convention in Texas.
“We have a mainstream media that tore apart another president for using fleeting images of 9-11 attacks in campaign ads. They were crying that he was exploiting tragedy for political gain. Well, that same media is the reliable poodle-skirted cheerleader for a president who writes the book on exploiting tragedy.”
