Ann Coulter Issues a Warning: Universal Background Checks Lead to Confiscation and Extermination (Video)

The final step of Nazi control in Austria was registration and confiscation of guns. (Fairly Civil)

Ann Coulter was on with Sean Hannity tonight to warn gun owners what lies ahead if Democrats have their way on gun control legislation. Ann made this very important point,

“Everything they’re telling you about what they could do about guns is a lie… For some reason Wayne LaPierre is not making this point so you’ll have to hear it from me. Universal background checks means universal registration. Universal registration means universal confiscation, universal extermination. That’s how it goes in history. Do not fall for universal background checks.”

You were warned.

The entire interview is here and is well worth your time.
Ann was on fire tonight.

we know progressives operate like creeping sharia, chip, chip, chipping away at our freedoms. they are very sly and very powerful and no one – NO ONE! – should feel overly confident about how they’ll never win this fight. they very well may win this fight.

    Dictators and Gun Control

    Dictators and Gun Control

“A free people ought to be armed.”
    – George Washington

Dictators promote gun control to ENSLAVE their people.

    Gun Control = SLAVERY!

Without guns, you are no more than a SLAVE!

    These dictators promoted GUN CONTROL.

Adolf Hitler – Promoted Gun Control

“The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing. Indeed, I would go so far as to say that the supply of arms to the underdogs is a sine qua non for the overthrow of any sovereignty. So let’s not have any native militia or native police. German troops alone will bear the sole responsibility for the maintenance of law and order throughout the occupied Russian territories, and a system of military strong-points must be evolved to cover the entire occupied country.”
    – Adolf Hitler, dinner talk on April 11, 1942

Nazi Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

Joseph Stalin – Promoted Gun Control

“If the opposition disarms, well and good. If it refuses to disarm, we shall disarm it ourselves.”
    – Joseph Stalin

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. By 1987 that figure had risen to 61,911,000.

Benito Mussolini – Promoted Gun Control

“The measures adopted to restore public order are: First of all, the elimination of the so-called subversive elements. … They were elements of disorder and subversion. On the morrow of each conflict I gave the categorical order to confiscate the largest possible number of weapons of every sort and kind. This confiscation, which continues with the utmost energy, has given satisfactory results.”
    – Benito Mussolini, address to the Italian Senate, 1931

Mao Tze Tung – Promoted Gun Control

“All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The communist party must command all the guns, that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party.”
    – Mao Tze Tung, Nov 6 1938

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952 10,076,000 political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated in Kuomintang China, and by 1987 another 35,236,000 exterminations were carried out under the Communists.

    The Harbingers of Tyranny

Please consider the following news reports:

    1. The Department of Homeland Security recently acquired 2 billion rounds of ammunition, which represents thousands of rounds per DHS employee.

    2. Newly released drone records have revealed extensive military flights inside the U.S.; police departments and federal agencies plan to have as many as 30,000 drones monitoring Americans within the next seven years.

    3. When Can the U.S. Kill Americans? The White House Won’t Say — and Won’t Even Tell Congress; President Obama’s successful efforts to renew and strengthen The Patriot Act under the NDAA means, according to the ACLU, American citizens may be subject to “indefinite military detention without charge or trial… for the first time in American history.”

    4. The FBI director said in March he’d have to check whether the president can assassinate citizens inside the U.S.. When questioned by Congress regarding a speech by Attorney General Holder, who offered his “legal justification for assassination”, FBI Director Mueller was unable to say whether the president could unilaterally decide to assassinate U.S. citizens inside the borders of this country.

    5. The DHS has specifically listed Americans who believe in “individual liberty” as potential terrorists. These “right-wing extremists” who insist in fidelity to the Constitution are, according to multiple studies funded by DHS, among the country’s most dire terrorist threats. Not Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Ansar al-Islam, Hamas, or Iran’s Revolutionary Guards — together responsible for tens of thousands of murders — but “violent right-wing extremists” who believe in the principles of the nation’s founding.

People don’t learn from history because they aren’t taught history anymore by the liberals in the schools. Liberals don’t learn from history because their ideology is their religion and regardless of the fact that liberalism fails time and time again, they still pursue pushing it on everyone. One would think of all groups that would have learned from the 30’s would be the Jews, but most of them are liberals and voted for Obama who has been going after one freedom after another and trying to destroy our Constitutional rights. He isn’t even hiding it. It’s there in the open. Yet most people have their heads in the sand. This is the Democratic Party. Wake up people before it is too late. Our economy is destroyed, people are out of work, people have no food and what is Obama pushing? Gun control. Nothing on jobs and the economy. Any reason for concern? What is it going to take to stop the insanity? Vote these people out of office.

That’s exactly what I’ve been saying since the moment I heard it proposed. When it comes to firearms, any time a liberal suggests “universal” anything, the translation is “registration”. I can understand the need for criminal background or mental health record checks, and don’t object to them as long as they don’t include any specific information about the firearm being purchased. But when they start talking about tracking specific information about the type and caliber of the firearm, or tracking ammunition purchases, it’s pretty obvious what they’re trying to do.

  • Highlander

Patty, the sneaky thing about the “background checks” they’re proposing is this ….

Yes, we already have background checks … on all NEW firearm purchases. They want to extend that to all purchases and transfers, new or otherwise, under the guise of closing the “gun show loophole”. Just like they did with Obamacare, they’re trying to get us to agree to closing the “loophole” without telling us exactly how they plan to do it …

Now, I want someone to explain to me how it would ever be possible for the federal government to force private buyers and sellers to comply with any background check requirement without registering each and every firearm in America, and making it illegal to own a firearm that was NOT registered and traceable. It would be impossible. So you see, this is the nasty little secret that they are trying to avoid mentioning. If they can get the public whipped in to a “close the loophole” frenzy, and pass some form of legislation that gives them the authority to do whatever it takes to do it, we have registration. Period.

    Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Call your Congressman and tell them you WILL NOT ACCEPT any legislation that does not SPECIFICALLY PROHIBIT registration in any form.

  • Highlander

Leslie, go soak your head. Twice as many people shoot themselves INTENTIONALLY as shoot anyone, including themselves, accidentally. It is almost guaranteed that you will die in a car, or fall off a ladder and die before anyone shoots you, accidentally OR intentionally. You people really make me sick with your propaganda …

    Jean-François Revel: How Democracies Perish

[Even if we muster sufficient backbone to resist Islamic jihad, liberal
Republicans and Democrats will be undermining our future from within
by loading more free services onto an economy unable to fulfill even it
existing commitments under Social Security and Medicare.

Regarding that, Revel wrote: “..[What the quest for economic equality produces] is the growing role of government, the modern government of which democracy’s children ask everything and from which they consequently accept everything. …. Tocqueville the visionary predicted [in his 1833 “Democracy in America”] with stunning precision the coming ascension of the omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient state the twentieth – century man knows so well: the state as protector, entrepreneur, educator; the physician – state, impresario – state, bookseller – state, helpful and predatory, tyrant and guardian, banker, father and jailer all at once….. Its power borders on the absolute partly because it is scarcely felt, having increased by imperceptible stages at the wish of its subjects, who turned to it instead of to each other. In those pages by Tocqueville we find the germ both of George Orwell’s “1984” and David Riesman’s “The Lonely Crowd.”]

Heres a question….I don’t know much about the background check. But I have heard that it delves into a persons mental state and past medical records for such. My question is that there is a new proposed guideline for labeling physical illnesses under mental health set to go into effect in the spring. I will include the link to the article. I haven’t heard much about it and am only aware of this because I have a chronic illness that while I do not have mental health issues if this had been in place during my diagnosis time I might have been sent to a psych and thus might have had it on my med records even though I don’t have mental health issues. This concerns me and I’m wondering if this goes through would it affect people’s background check when they go to purchase a firearm? If so, that’s another layer of alarming to me.

Policy of disarming the public began after the Second Punic War when Rome prohibited Carthage from defending itself. In 148 BC after the Third Punic War, the Carthaginians were exterminated.

Gun registration has already led to confiscation in America. California registered “assault weapons” and confiscated them. NY State is registering all firearms. Banned weapons (assault weapons and magazines with more than 7 rounds) must be disposed of by March 2013 or they will be confiscated. The goal is to disarm the American people, making them subservient to the government.

If you live in a red state write your state representatives and your governor demanding that firearm sales records not be turned over to the Federal authorities. The Gun Control Act of 1968 prohibits release of these records. If asked by your doctor if you have a firearm in your house, say no. (I used to keep my firearms in the trunk of my car until I lost them all in a tragic canoe accident last month.) If you have a concealed carry permit, you may answer that (like me) you carry a pocket knife.

If you live in a blue state, move.

Ammunition is in short supply so reload. Buy an old press on eBay; new ones cost more and are made in China. Used dies are also available online. RCBS is the best brand. Check out garage sales especially if someone died or is getting divorced. It may seem odd that someone like me who has no firearms would load 30-06, 243, 45 ACP, 10 MM, 40 cal, 9 MM, 380 ACP, and 38 special. Hey, it’s my hobby!

The people in America behind this gun grab have openly stated that they plan to use the exact same tactics here that were used in Australia to strip us of our guns. I wonder if that plan would include staging or sponsoring a few mass murders? They certainly have the support of the media …

On the evening of November 9th 1938 Hitler’s Propaganda Minister, Joseph Goebbels and other Nazi chiefs planned the attack… Orders went out to Nazi Security Forces… “All Jews are to be disarmed. In the event of resistance they are to be shot immediately”.

First people were made to register their weapons, then they were told if they did not turn them over they would be executed.

  • Jeffery

We have around 300,000,000 small arms in the hands of US citizens. There will be no registration; there will be no confiscation.

The current proposals would enable background checks for all future gun sales. This may actually pass Congress. An assault weapon ban and/or magazine restrictions are unlikely to pass.

Doctors to Obama: You’ve Failed Again

“This latest version of the contraceptives and
    sterilization mandate remains unacceptable,”

Yes, we already have background checks … on all NEW firearm purchases. They want to extend that to all purchases and transfers, new or otherwise, under the guise of closing the “gun show loophole”. Just like they did with Obamacare, they’re trying to get us to agree to closing the “loophole” without telling us exactly how they plan to do it …

It’s not rocket science. Currently, if I buy a gun, new or used, on, say, the gun is shipped to my FFL of choice, and for a small fee, they perform the background check when I go in to pick it up.

The same thing could be done sans the shipping. The gun could be dropped off by the seller and picked up by the buyer, or they could both go in together. This type of transfer could also be done at gun shows.

    Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Is that the new NRA motto?

Apparently lincoln’s weird harpy has some issues. And we should care, because…?

    another stupid news report:

[“First of all, I’ve been monitoring your gun debates,” Nugent said.
“Go ahead and take it to the bank: You’ll never understand. I really
    don’t believe you’ll ever grasp — you don’t understand that it’s a
simple inanimate tool that tens of millions of American families own
that have never caused a problem, never had an accident and will
never commit a crime. You have these aberrations that are such
    a minute percentage.”]

[After two weeks of media reports that a .223 AR-15 Bushmaster
was found in the trunk of Lanza’s car, gun aficionados point out
that the rifle is not a Bushmaster, nor even an AR-class assault
weapon. Gun experts say that the weapon shown in an NBC
News report is some kind of shotgun. (video & more at link)]

[Contrary to what the ad clearly implies, any weapon that can fire 300 rounds per minute remains illegal for civilians to own without specific clearance by the US Department of Justice.

In fact, machine guns have been tightly regulated since the passage
of the National Firearms Act in 1934, in the wake of the gangster era.
Legal ownership of a machine gun requires an extensive federal
background check, fingerprinting, signed clearance from the chief of
local law enforcement (such as a county sheriff), a $200 excise tax,
and weeks of paperwork. That was true before the assault-weapon
ban was enacted in 1994, and it remains true with the expiration of
the ban at midnight Sept. 13, 2004.

That’s made clear in a question-and-answer document posted Sept.
13 on the Web site of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and
Explosives (ATF), explaining the effect of the expiration of the assault
    -weapon ban:

ATF: All provisions of the National Firearms Act (NFA) relating
to registration and transfer of machine guns . . . still apply.

The fully automatic version of the AK47 — pictured and described
in the ad — remains just as illegal as it was before the ban expired.

But it is also a fact that Bush was publicly committed to sign
an extension if Congress passed it, and it was Congress that
    failed to do so.]

Hey people, you are being taken over with a muslim communist dictator in Office, and everything he has done and is doing is in preparation of a complete communist takeover. Wake up before the slaughter begins and then do something about it. The people of the U.S. have great leverage over the government in power – start using your leverage. Unite and fight this government, whether figuratively or literally…..time is of the essence.

not enough being done about the real causation (#89)..

[Suicide, Violence Link Hidden by Big Pharma

In 2005, it was found that link between Prozac and suicidal behavior
was kept a secret. The BBC even reported in as early as the year 2000
that Prozac ‘led to suicide’. Oftentimes killers will end their own lives after
shootings, or attempt to force the cops to kill them. This is essentially
a form of suicide with a mixture of murderous tendencies.]

    [Psychotropic drugs “prescribed for school
    children cause violent behavior,”
    Healy stated.

The drugs are widely used in the U.S. as antidepressants by
doctors working in the mental health field and increasingly by
    primary care doctors, he noted.

Healey insisted the problem today is that doctors working with schools
to control the behavior of children are inclined to prescribe SSRI drugs
without serious consideration of adverse consequences.

“The pharmaceutical companies made these drugs with the idea of
making money,” he said. “There’s a wide range of problems when it
comes to looking at these drugs for children. Very few children have
serious problems that warrant treatment with pills that have the risks
    SSRI drugs have.”]

President Obama needs to be the first one to submit a background check .
He has his finger on the biggest trigger.

Hey, Leslie, yeah you, on your soapbox! On an average day, how many Americans die in vehicle crashes? Answer: 80-90. On an average day, how many Americans die of tobacco related illnesses? Answer: Maybe 1000. How many fetuses aborted everyday in America? Couple thousand? Therefore, according to your logic, we should have outlawed the internal combustion engine, tobacco in all forms, and abortion factories decades ago. Yet here we are. Grow the hell up, you pathetic, narrow-minded troll.

Yoda M, answer me this ….

I decide to sell my AK47 to my neighbor. We meet in the garage, I hand him the AK, and he hands me the cash. How do you prevent this from happening? Is the background check supposed to be done on the honor system? Of course not. You aren’t going to successfully prevent the uncontrolled private transfer of firearms unless you TRACK THE SERIAL NUMBERS and institute strict penalties for delivering or receiving/possessing a firearm without the proper paperwork and background check. Period.

We already have a perfectly good system in place to check the background of anyone purchasing a new firearm, but extending that to include private, person to person transactions is a pipe dream without a SEVERE revamping of our gun laws, including the registration of all firearms.

Now, I don’t know what side you’re on, or where you stand on the second amendment, but I don’t think you can deny the fact that once a registration system is in place, and a comprehensive list of firearms owners is available, confiscation is only a few pen strokes away…

Anyone who denies that, or calls us paranoid and tries to reassure us that their only goal is “closing the gun show loophole” is full of crap.

I said it once, and I’ll say it again …. the plan is to write a broad law that gives them the latitude to do whatever is necessary to insure that background checks are required for ALL firearms transfers, and then “pass the law, so we can find out what’s in it”. They’re already working overtime, rallying public support for these background checks and drafting the necessary legislation behind closed doors. Given the chance, they will ceremoniously ram it through, and the next thing we know, we’ll be forced to register our guns, or risk becoming felons if we refuse to do so.

Coulter may be off track on a lot of things, but she’s right on this and anyone who can’t see that either isn’t looking too hard, or is intentionally trying to obscure the issue …
