Awful… Chris Christie Slams NRA: “Reprehensible” For “Dragging People’s Children” Into Gun Debate (Video)

Governor Chris Christie (R-NJ) slammed the NRA as “reprehensible” for “dragging people’s children” into gun debate.

This comes after the left mocked the NRA for proposing armed security at schools while at the same time sending their children to schools with armed guards. The NRA pointed this out in an ad. And, now Christie is attacking the NRA not the hypocrites on the left.

Mediaite
reported:

“I think any of us who are public figures, you see that kind of ad and you cringe,” Christie said on Thursday at a news conference in Trenton. “I’m a father who is a public figure, who has four children and my children had no choice realistically in what I decided to do with my career and what affect that has had on their lives.”

“Don’t be dragging people’s children into this,” he added. “It’s wrong and I think it demeans them and it makes them less of a valid trusted source of information on the real issues that confront this debate.”

Hey Fatso, Obie has enough ass kissers. He doesn’t need you. So go eat a supermarket and STFU! Obama treats half this country like crap and yet so many of them can’t wait to run to his defense or to kiss his ass. I am SO EFFIN SICK OF IT!!!!!

Christie will be the chosen one of the Republican elites.

Time to get a new party on the ballot.

  • cavt

I am sick of these fake republicans. Bad enough that the GOP is full of a ton of rino’s but then add people like Christie, Powell, etc–ugh. Why can’t these guys be honest and change party registration. They should call themselves blue dog dems and that way they can pretend at being conservative.

And the Pubs will make this clown their 2016 presidential nominee. Hilarious! I’m so glad I registered as an Independent. I learned my lesson when the Libertarian Party ran Republican retreads the past two presidential election cycles.
Let’s face it, our country is hosed. $16+ trillion in debt, no budget, no tax or entitlement reform, a growing intrusive government with a useless media. We’re unwilling to face our problems, yet we criticize Greece, Italy, Spain, etc. Un-freaking-believable.

I keep geeting letters from the RNC, and I keep tossing them and will continue to do so. Put a fork in both parties, they are done.

The NRA raises a valid issue: that all citizens are equal and none should be more equal than any others. But all we have to do is notice how David Gregory blatantly broke DC law in front of millions of people and what a flimsy pass the DC officials gave him to know that we do indeed have Governing Elites. Clearly these people think the law is only for the little people.

But the Second Amendment applies to all citizens, not just the Governing Elites. That is the point that the NRA was making.

Have a doughnut, Christie, especially if it will help you keep your mouth shut.

Is he going to condemn Obama for dragging kids along as human shields yesterday?

I guess that NRA ad cut a little too close to the bone by exposing the hypocritical attitudes of the governing aristocrat class.

No one is suggesting Christie’s children should be denied security. We are simply asking for the same rights that our “public servants” have.

Never could stand the guy. This is not surprising, but I’m glad his true colors are showing mainstream. Him in 2016? Could care less. The GOP is ‘dead to me’ so to speak.

Where’s his criticism of Obama for dragging children into his press conference?

  • Where’s the MF money Jon?

Please, Governor, tell me how Obama’s kids are more important than mine. Tell me how yours are more important than mine. Please, tell me to my face. No armed bodyguards. Man to man. Tell me how the children of politicians are more sacred than the children of an average taxpayer.

Hey Fatso, you need to switch parties. Ever since you sucked up to Obama after the Hurricane, you have acted like a fat ass liberal. As for the children, it was Obama who used them for his photo op. You can kiss your chances of ever getting a Presidential nomination from the GOP. As for your own children, I bet their not going to the local gun free zone school. And that bailout for hurrican sandy, you didn’t care how much pork was in it. But then from the looks of you I can tell you love pork.

So, “Dragging people’s children” into the gun debate is a bad thing. Hmm…

Has he discussed this pressing matter with Obama yet? Because I think there was something about the president having kids with him when he passed these executive orders.
