DC Attorney General and Family Friend Decides Not to Prosecute Pal David Gregory

D.C. Attorney General Irvin Nathan issued a lengthy letter explaining why there will be no prosecution of David Gregory despite a finding that there was a clear violation of the law.

Legal Insurrection discovered that AG Nathan is a family friend of David Gregory and his high-powered attorney wife, Beth Wilkinson. Nathan and Wilkinson participated together in a charity mock trial for the Washington, D.C. Shakespeare Theatre Company in 2011.

    So the next time I go to “march” on DC and I bring my pepper spray with me (which is supposed to be registered with the DC police) and if I should use it to protect myself, and I get hauled in by the police for not “registering” it with the DC police, I can invoke the “Gregory” rule that I don’t have to obey DC laws and there will be no consequence for my unlawful actions????? This is BS!

    So we have the Gregory rule; the Rangel Rule, the Geithner Rule. . .what other laws can we break in the name of liberalism!

    #10 Kate–come on. Of course, laws are only for conservative/constituitonalists. Obamaites know better than the founders and don’t consider the constitution worthy of their recognition. If we had a choice of having a discussion with either Thomas Jefferson or Obama–who would you chose? Seems obvious but the Obamaite probably thinks Jefferson was an uncle of Bill J Clinton.

    Yeah, you bet they don’t blame themselves or their buddies for a thing. They have big connections don’t ya know.

    And personally, I hope that some day they never need help and help doesn’t come. They will wish they had some sort of defense. But the media on the left should have had something done a long time ago when it became clear they never reported the real Obama. The lopsidedness of their so called “reporting is atrocious.

    A news person on Fox would never hear the end of it. And they probably would be fired in an instant.

    This is the nasty side of news and the bitter bias and insane journalism gone wild.

  • The funny thing is Gregory is waving that mag around on t.v like he really knows a lot about these assault rifles, but as a Liberal would be absolutely clueless where to attach it to a rifle…..
    The first place a revolution should take place would be to take care of all these media jerk offs, I mean really what are they gonna do throw their I- pads and laptops at us….

    By the way David I know of another place that mag would fit into nicely, but you would have to get Bwaney Frank on your show for advise….

    once you dont enforce this law, anyone else brandishing such a dangerous device need to get the same treatment. Like someone else said precedent has been set.
