Top Democrat On Gun Control: “Confiscation Could Be an Option” (Audio)

Top Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo said this about gun control today,
“Confiscation could be an option.”

** Audio here.

The Blaze reported:

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo (D-N.Y.) said Thursday that all options, including confiscation and “mandatory sales to the state,” would be on the table next month when the New York State Legislature debates new gun control measures. The comments were specifically aimed at what might happen should stricter rules be imposed on “assault” weapons and high-capacity magazines.

The governor said he plans on proposing a package of gun legislation in his State of the State address on Jan. 9.

“There’s a big difference of opinion on these issues,” Gov. Cuomo said today during a radio interview with Albany’s WGDJ-AM.

Another option is to bite my @ss Huomo ! It’s unconstitutional and if you try it you will fail. Also if you are dumb enough to try it…..we expect you to have unarmed guards first. Slingshots for you and no more soft drinks either.

After the first dozen or so “confiscators” get shot, the legislators will crawl back into their slime.

In 1969, Weather Underground founders Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn (who were to become Pres. Obama’s personal friends and associates for many years) put Charles Manson on the cover of their occasional newspaper, “Fire”. At what was billed as a “War Council” in Flint Michigan that same year, Ayers and his comrades took to greeting eachother with “the fork” – three fingers pointed upwards, in honor of Manson. (Google Dohrn’s Flint conference quote on Manson – and Sharon Tate, who was 8 1/2 months pregnant at the time.) In 1972 Ayers dedicated the WU’s manifesto, “Prairie Fire”, to his cultural and political heroes — a list which included Sen. Robert Kennedy’s assassin, Sirhan Sirhan.

  • ★FALCON★

Instead of sending some low-level cop to confiscate the guns and get shot, needlessly separated from his kids and family – I suggest that Cuomo do it himself.

Ordering others to do your dirty work is a Democrat hallmark. If Cuomo truly believes what he says he should have no problem beginning the confiscation himself.

Not to worry, this is just a negotiating tactic; demand the moon, the sun, the stars, and all the planets. Then make a deal for just the solar system, and call it a compromise.

So demand confiscation, then settle for no more military style weapons among the general population. Then define military style weapons as …….
……and we get to keep our flintlocks, to be used only for re-enacting Civil War battles, and our long bows and broadswords. Until someone massacres a bunch of school kids with a Samurai sword.

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo (D-N.Y.) said Thursday that all options, including confiscation and “mandatory sales to the state,” would be on the table next month when the New York State Legislature debates new gun control measures.

And that’s how they try to do it; bit by bit by bit.

The voting public is largely so ignorant and stupid, they can’t see it happening, and mostly don’t care until it’s too late, when they finally realize something’s been lost.

  • GotFreedom

Come and just try to take it. . .you’ll have to pry it from my cold dead hands before I give them up!!!

  • We will need to confiscate the federal government’s guns and ammunition, then.

‘In the aftermath of the recent Sandy Hook shooting, Obama and his cohorts are screaming about how they all despise guns and ammo. Guns are the problem in America today, we’ve been told from every corner of the media, and so the only solution is to get rid of all the guns.

But not exactly. There’s one organization in America that’s loading up on masses of assault rifles and enough ammunition to run a 10-year shooting war. That organization is, of course, the U.S. federal government and its Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which has purchased a total of 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition to be used domestically, inside the United States.

It begs the question: Why does the Department of Homeland Security — named after Hitler’s “Office of Fatherland Security” — need 1.6 billion rounds of ammo?

    1) DHS does not fight wars with foreign nations. It’s entire theater of operations is on U.S. soil, dealing solely with the American people.

    2) Hollow point ammunition is banned by the Geneva convention and is not used by the U.S. military. This ammunition can only be used domestically, in the United States, against U.S. targets or people.’…

If Obama is opposed to guns, why did his administration just purchase 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition and sniper rounds?

    Quote from link:

“An evil exists that threatens every man, woman and child of this great nation. We must take steps to ensure our domestic security and protect our homeland.” – Adolf Hitler, 1922.

    That other leftist.

  • Rose IV

    Words. Just words, Words, WORDS!

Another stupid phucking Democrat farting out his mouth trying to scare the sheep. I’ll tell you what big boy, you want the guns then “COME AND GET THEM!” Let’s just see how that works out for ya, eh?

  • Lady Mondegreen

The tide is turning. The media is suddenly reporting on every shooting in the country and public opinion is headed toward strong support for gun regulations. This is going to be another wedge issue in 2014, and we’re going to lose even more seats if we are seen as incapable of compromise on guns, gays, and the budget. We’ll win a few battles, but we’ll lose the war. And as for 2016, Cuomo is a very smart politician who has his eye on the White House. Clearly, he sees this as a winning issue and he may well be right.

  • CommieJuice

PSY performed for 0bama at the white house not long ago. There was a big protest because of the anti-American song PSY sang before Gangnam Style went viral.

The lyrics in PSY’s anti-American song when talking about Americans (Yankees) – “Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and fathers. Kill them all slowly and painfully.”

How come this was never brought up? How come 0bama can personally invite and host someone who wants American kids, namely daughters to be killed, but when PSY got his wish and kids including daughters and mothers were murdered, nobody connects the dots or makes the connection. He was at the white house 4 days before Sandy Hook, yet nobody talks about this, only blames it on guns, not on people that 0bama praises and invites personally to perform who had lyrics promoting the very act that happened at Sandy Hook.

This reminds me of when the Democrats passed Obamacare — they didn’t care what the Constitution said then. And, all of this talk about “gun control” proves that they still don’t care about our Constitution. All that is important to Progressive Democrats is that Big Government has the power to control every aspect of our lives. I am glad I am a senior citizen — I really feel sorry for young Americans. They will have to live in the Socialist/Communist world the Progressives are creating. They will be equally poor and have few freedoms. Unfortunately, that seems to be what many of them want.

#33,Obama got “Re-elected through Massive Voter Fraud and nothing else, he couldn’t even draw more than 3,000 people to a rally and that was with Bruce Springsteen fronting for him.

The mathematics for his re-election don’t even come close to making any sense. 130% turnout in many precints where he “Won” and he got 99% of that vote. What the bleep! You can only have 100% turnout and the odds are more than a million to one that he would get 99% of that. In addition, numerous reports across the country during the early voting of people pushing the touch screen for Romney and it coming out for Obama on the screen. Obama then miraculously won every single Battleground State he had to win except North Carolina How is that possible during an economic depression? All of a sudden the Tea Party just vanished out of thin air even though they had more reason to turn out and vote then in 2010. Actually the Tea Party and Conservatives did vote it’s just that the vote didn’t count.

They are also trying to tell us that turnout was lower than not only 2008,but 2004 also even thogh eyewitness reports had massive turnout in most areas favorable to Romney across the Country and voter enthusiasm and actual eyewitness turnout in Obama’s areas down. Kinda like what we are seeing right now with our own eyes so far as Firearms legislation. We have less than a Hundred people on television monopolizing the air waves, including Obama telling us “Most” Americans favor new restrictions on Firearms. Yet,we are seeing across the Country million’s of people putting their money where their mouth is and buying anything and everything in Firearms stores. Yep,that sounds like people are really favoring new Assault Weapons Bans to me.sarc. Face it,you liberals are still in the minority and as afraid of this situation as i am,we are not giving in to anymore restriction’s on Firearms. If Obama issues a decree Banning the possesion of any Firearm or Magazine and orders the federal government to confiscate them,it will be ignored and defended against. This is a line we know we can’t allow the government to cross. We know if we turn in our Assault Weapons and high capacity magazines today, they will be back very shortly for our Revolvers and Bolt action Rifles and so on untill they get our steak knives. It will not ever be enough for you statists untill you enslave and then Murder all of us and then after that you will turn on yourselves. But you can’t do that so easily if we are armed as we are now!

Yea, you knew this was coming. Cuomo is pushing to be Prez in 2016–if Obama doesn’t repeal the two term limit. However the issue is a ludicrous joke. Many felonies are being perpetrated by illegals, most with illegal weapons. Thus, Cuomo, true to statist form, will go after the law-abiding, taxpaying, non-felon registered gun owner, and leave the guns in the hands of the felons and the illegals (because the US government can no longer even count them all and doesn’t even care). Great plan! Sure to have a LOT of unintended consequences.

Flashback: Clinton Requests $60 Million to Put Cops in Schools

[The media also doesn’t care how wildly hypocritical they look.

In their zeal to rampage this left-wing agenda, the media has apparently forgotten that back in 2000, on the one-year anniversary of the Columbine shooting (which occurred with an assault weapons ban in place), President Clinton requested $60 million in federal money to fund a fifth round of funding for a program called “COPS in School,” a program that does exactly what the NRA is proposing and the media is currently in overdrive mocking]

  • onetermer

Gov. Cuomo, go ahead with your plan. And kiss your White House bid goodbye because the battleground states will not vote in a gun grabber for pres.

  • Joanne

Look folks, they are going to try to confiscate your guns. They have to confiscate your guns to take over. They can’t have Americans armed and shooting the ‘civilian force’. Obama is going to spin and spin with the media helping him all the way. People who have guns and defend the right to have arms will be demonized by the leftards. The right can’t even take being called ‘Birthers’, let alone the labels the left are going to place upon you for wanting to be armed.

As soon as the confiscation starts, the American people have to take to the streets in protest everywhere. No waiting to see what happens or to see if they’ll be coming for you. People may even have to stop going to work, like you all should have done already, to show you mean business. Obama is going to pick off people one by one until people are so scared, they will hand in their guns. Do you all get it! A dictator sits in the Whitehouse, and he is going to take over the U.S. if good men do nothing.

  • Joanne

#62 – Americans didn’t vote in Obama for a second term either – there was massive voter fraud. So interesting how Romney just slid away like a snake – no fight in him at all. They must have got to him too, or maybe he had us all hoodwinked from the start.

    An opinion on gun control

    [Armed Teachers

So now that there is a new tragedy the president wants to have a “national conversation on guns”. Here’s the thing. Until this national conversation is willing to entertain allowing teachers to carry concealed weapons, then it isn’t a conversation at all, it is a lecture.

Now when I say teachers carrying concealed weapons on Facebook I immediately get a bunch of emotional freak out responses. You can’t mandate teachers be armed! Guns in every classroom! Emotional response! Blood in the streets!

No. Hear me out. The single best way to respond to a mass shooter is with an immediate, violent response. The vast majority of the time, as soon as a mass shooter meets serious resistance, it bursts their fantasy world bubble. Then they kill themselves or surrender. This has happened over and over again.

The average number of people shot in a mass shooting event when the shooter is stopped by law enforcement: 14. The average number of people shot in a mass shooting event when the shooter is stopped by civilians: 2.5. The reason is simple. The armed civilians are there when it started.

    Gun Free Zones

Gun Free Zones are hunting preserves for innocent people. Period.

Think about it. You are a violent, homicidal madman, looking to make a statement and hoping to go from disaffected loser to most famous person in the world. The best way to accomplish your goals is to kill a whole bunch of people. So where’s the best place to go shoot all these people? Obviously, it is someplace where nobody can shoot back.

In all honesty I have no respect for anybody who believes Gun Free Zones actually work. You are going to commit several hundred felonies, up to and including mass murder, and you are going to refrain because there is a sign? That No Guns Allowed sign is not a cross that wards off vampires. It is wishful thinking, and really pathetic wishful thinking at that.]

    just a reminder:

    January 17th, 2007

    School Threat

[* According to two trainers at an anti-terrorism conference on the East Coast, preparations for attacks on American schools that will bring rivers of blood and staggering body counts are well underway in Islamic terrorist camps.

    * The intended attackers have bluntly warned us they’re going to do it.

    * They’re already begun testing school-related targets here.

    * They’ve given us a catastrophic model to train against, which we’ve largely ignored and they’ve learned more deadly tactics from.

Al-Qaeda has publicly asserted the “right” to kill 2,000,000 American children, Rassa explained, and has warned that “operations are in stages of preparation” now. He played vivid videotapes confiscated in Afghanistan, showing al-Qaeda terrorists practicing the takeover of a school. The trainees issue commands in English, rehearse separating youngsters into manageable groups and meeting any resistance with violence. Some “hostages” are taken to the rooftop, dangled over the edge, then “shot.”]

    October 7, 2004

Computer disc found in Iraq contained U.S. school plans

[Federal law enforcement authorities notified school districts in six states last month that a computer disc found in Iraq contained photos, floor plans and other information about their schools, two U.S. officials said Thursday.

The disc contained an Education Department report called “Practical Information on Crisis Planning: A Guide for Schools and Communities,” published in May 2003, as well as photos and floor plans.]

    September 13, 2007

    The Ends Islamist Terrorists Seek

[The entire goal of Al Qaeda-type monsters is to provoke a reaction from mainstream America by pursuing evil against those who stand in the way of imposing theocracy. These fascists have no value for life other than that it’s simply a means to their end of a totalitarian theocratic state. It is their ideology. In their warped view of religion they are God.

These are not the actions of psychopaths. Instead, they are the calculated actions of those seeking power and those afraid of freedom. They know that liberty’s greatest weakness is its wide exposure to attacks against noncombatants (i.e., you and me) and the way in which protections against those attacks alter the very liberties we all seek to protect.

If American Muslims declare open war against Al Qaeda, Americans will rush to defend our mosques rather than allow them to be burned. Otherwise, with rage and vengeance, the freedoms so protected by our Constitution will quickly dissipate into a nation gripped by fear and hate of the “other.” And that is the ultimate goal of such horrific acts: to create a reaction which ultimately destroys the very fabric of our nation-the trust of one another, under God, under our Constitution. The children they would kill in schools on this “Perfect Day” would be a utilitarian mechanism (ends justifying the means) to achieve the destruction of the “American” way of life.]

3 years old, but oh so much more poignant than ever..

    September 9, 2009

Eighth anniversary of 9/11 calls for vigilance

[The events of September 11, 2009 opened America’s eyes to the ruthlessness that militant Islamism can inspire. Yet eight years later our leaders and therefore our nation still struggles with the real threat that looms before us. The parsing of words in recent months of whether we are in a “War on Terror” or an “Overseas Contingency Operation” or even the Obama Administrations decision to designate 9/11 as a “Day of Service,” demonstrate that our leadership is missing the point on what and who the true threat is to America.

To lay it out in no uncertain terms, Political Islam has one goal, the dominance of the Islamist version of Islam over every aspect of life. Their belief in a theocratic form of government that stifles individual liberty is at complete odds with every principle that built America.

The ideology of Islamism (aka Political Islam) is in direct conflict with the west and in reality in both a war of ideas as well as a kinetic war on many fronts. Its adherents will use every avenue available to them to achieve their goal. Hijacked airplanes, terror attacks and separatism in the version of shar’iah courts are just weapons on many fronts to both militant and lawful Islamists. Without addressing both the peaceful and violent roots of political Islam (Islamism) together, we ignore the ideological chasm between liberty based western societies like America and the deceptive theocratic global movement of political Islam. Political correctness and a healthy respect for Islam as a faith have prevented the development of a serious strategy against the theological fuel behind global militant Islamism. The threat remains very real and we have seen militant Islamist cells stopped most recently in the past few months in North Carolina and New York.

The moves to advance political Islam by American Islamist organizations stand to benefit only other Islamists- whether they condemn terrorism or not. Until we are able to engage Muslims openly who are anti-Islamist we will make no progress in a cogent strategy against Islamism in both its militant and lawful forms.

Americans should mark this eighth anniversary of 9/11 by dedicating ourselves to being vigilant on all fronts in the protection of our individual liberties and the founding principles of America. These fronts include our neighborhoods, interfaith community, government, universities, businesses, and media. In particular, it is long overdue that we openly engage Muslims who are ready to separate mosque and state as a means to defeating political Islam. American Muslims should be vigilant in our protection of our faith and the freedom that the American system gives us to practice that faith.]

To all who think certain Americans will not fight:

Just why do you think that the sales of military style rifles and bulk military ammunition over the last four years have been at record levels? Each and every year, there have been enough rifles sold to equip the entire Indian Army. 🙂

@ JoyO #43: I remember my grandmother, about 25 years ago, told me that she believed Sen Joe McCarthy and that she was always tuning into the news reports with a watchful eye for the closet Commies. She knew the Commies were quietly and diligently working away at America and she didn’t like the idea of it one bit. She died earlier this year at the age of 93 and, for the same reasons that you’re glad to be on in years, I’m glad she’s gone now and not here to see what’s coming so quickly our way.

Thanks. How’s the great-grandson? Tell him a wolf said Merry Christmas. 🙂

re They must have got to him too, or maybe he had us all hoodwinked from the start

Possibly. But Romney was always simply an ABO. Anybody But Obama is preferable to Obama. The idea being that Romney, RINO and all, would be easier to manage than Barry Dunham or whoever he is and all his radical leftist fundamental transformations of the U.S. The GOP establishment did not have the same sense of urgency, however, and basically rolled over to the media and played Obama’s game. That’s the problem when a RINO candidate is guided by the RINO GOP…

  • No way I’d be living in NY. They can have in their little liberal nanny state utopia. Will be unnerving to see their crime rate skyrocket after all the guns are turned in by the law abiding sheep.

  • Wiscodoc

I’m thinking that if the government ever really did turn its guns on “we the people”, that we would be seriously outgunned. I’m picturing Army, Navy Air Force and USMC vs. Granny, Falcon, Militant Conservative and all the rest…not a pretty sight…depending upon one’s point of view, I suppose.

    11 million holocaust victims

Secrets of Communism (by any other name)

Murder by Communism (by any other name)

[But communism does not stand alone in such mass murder. We do have the example of Nazi Germany, which may have itself murdered some 20,000,000 Jews, Poles, Ukrainians, Russians, Yugoslaves, Frenchmen, and other nationalities. Then there is the Nationalist government of China under Chiang Kai-shek, which murdered near 10,000,000 Chinese from 1928 to 1949, and the Japanese militarists who murdered almost 6,000,000 Chinese, Indonesians, Indochinese, Koreans, Filipinos, and others during world War II. And then we have the 1,000,000 or more Bengalis and Hindus killed in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) in 1971 by the Pakistan military. Nor should we forget the mass expulsion of ethnic Germans and German citizens from Eastern Europe at the end of World War II, particularly by the Polish government as it seized the German Eastern Territories, killing perhaps over 1,000,000 of them. Nor should we ignore the 1,000,000 plus deaths in Mexico from 1900 to 1920, many of these poor Indians and peasants being killed by forced labor on barbaric haciendas. And one could go on and on to detail various kinds of noncommunist democide.

But what connects them all is this. As a government’s power is more unrestrained, as its power reaches into all the corners of culture and society, and as it is less democratic, then the more likely it is to kill its own citizens. There is more than a correlation here. As totalitarian power increases, democide multiplies until it curves sharply upward when totalitarianism is near absolute. As a governing elite has the power to do whatever it wants, whether to satisfy its most personal desires, to pursue what it believes is right and true, it may do so whatever the cost in lives. In this case power is the necessary condition for mass murder. Once an elite have it, other causes and conditions can operated to bring about the immediate genocide, terrorism, massacres, or whatever killing an elite feels is warranted.]

“The social experiment in China under Chairman Moa’s leadership
is one of the most important and successful in human history.”

#64,You nailed it! “Romney had us hoodwinked from the start”. He was supposed to take a dive and he did. The dems are plan A for the “New World Order,One World Government” Bankser illuminati such as Rockefeller/Rotschild and the repubs are plan B. They are all statists lefties with the repubs trying to sound like Conservatives but they alway’s keep pushing Obama’s agenda ahead. MITTEN’S was as nasty and dirty as they come during the repub primary, then once he had that won he came to dead stop, almost like he was working off a script…Because he was. He was a willing dupe,as was McCain and Dole befre him,who knew his part in this “Theatre” ,was to take a dive and lose to Obama. The reason or that is they are all advancing the more important goal to them of a New World Order.

He as the Bush’s before him earlier this year seemed “A little too relaxed” with Obama in the White House. Both Bush’s,Bill Clinton,MITTEN’S and Obama all seem very chummy. It’s the type of ease and chuminess that comes from believing in the same things and having the same agenda. They only seem uncomfortable when people like Sarah Palin’s name is mentioned.

Remarkable is it not? That every single bit of Obama’s agenda could have been stopped yet some republican alway’s seems to step forward to bail Obama ( Rockefeller/Rotschild ) out, For instance: Obamacare ( Olympia Snowe), Dodd/Frank ( Scott Brown ), Food Safety and Modernization Act ( Tom Coburn ). All of those people singlehandidly played a key role in advancing Obama’s Bills when they singlehandidly could have stopped them.

Then we get to groups of repubs helping Obama as in: The Start 2 Treaty,The NDAA,Opening up the skies to Drones,Renewal of the Patriot Act,the Debt Ceiling raises, light bulb ban etc. None of that is a coincidence on the part of the repubs, but Treasonous complicity and 95% of the repubs are radical leties playing at being Conservative. If they were Conservative,MITEN’S would have vociferously challenged Obama’s more than obvious Fraudulent “Victory” but MITTEN’S instead seemed entirely a little too comfortable with that “Loss”.

I’m not exactly thrilled with the prospect of Paul Ryan as the Speaker either,as his past votes on many issues could hardly be called Conservative. I think the Establishment is finally going to replace Boehner as Speaker, simply as a smokescreen to delay our attempt and pacify us,in a futile attempt to stop us from forming a replacement Conservative Third Party alternative to the repubs. They know people are fit to be tied about the repubs collaboration with the dems and for the first time in my life a New party to replace the repubs would have overwhelming support,as the repubs have become a mirror image of the dems, much like the ‘Whig Party who they replaced in the 1850’s had become the same thing.

I cannot believe the panel tonight on Fox report all three saying NRA idea for Professionals to guard our children’s schools was no option.

This nation has become a left leaning bunch of Pantywaste.

Poll: Majority Agree with NRA Plan to ‘Increase Police Presence at Schools’

Lost in our objective, unbiased, and non-partisan media’s zeal to mock the National Rifle Association’s proposal to guard our public schools is the fact that, in a Gallup poll taken Wednesday, a majority of 53% of Americans expressed their support for doing exactly what the NRA’s proposing – increasing police presence at schools.

Only 42% support an assault weapons ban.

Almost as many people (34%) thought that at least one school official in every school should carry a gun as those who favored banning the sale of assault and semi-automatic guns, while 27% felt that the news media should not print or read the names of the shooter. The news blackout of the shooter drew the highest percentage of those who thought it would be ineffective, at 40%, but the gun ban was a close second in the ineffectiveness rating at 36%.

What also becomes clear from the poll is the public’s perception that all of the solutions offered would be fruitless, as 53% was the highest positive rating of any of the remedies.

I’d love to see a poll of the elite media asking if they prefer armed or unarmed guards at their workplace.

    Bloomberg does Comedy.

Bloomberg: No One Has ‘Defended the Second Amendment as Much as I Have

Mayor Michael Bloomberg may have risen to become the country’s chief critic of lax firearm laws, but on his weekly radio show, he argued that has nothing to do with the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Indeed, Mr. Bloomberg claimed to be the strongest defender of the Second Amendment around.

“I don’t think there’s anybody that’s defended the Second Amendment as much as I have, Ray,” Mr. Bloomberg said to a caller who asked him why he was “so against” the constitutional passage . “I think you have a perfect right to buy weapons and keep them for protection or for sport. We have tried to make sure that you have it. The Supreme Court says that there are–consistent with the Second Amendment–you can have reasonable restrictions, so, for example, you can’t buy a nuclear-tipped weapon.”

The mayor also offered some possible interpretations of the Second Amendment that differ from those espoused by gun rights advocates.

“I don’t think anyone should try to tamper with the Second Amendment,” Mr. Bloomberg explained. “There is a question as to what [in] the Second Amendment was written. You can read it to say they only talked about militias, or you can read it to say they wanted guns in your pocket. I don’t know, that’s up to you.”

    Alex Jones on Ct. Shooting

  • They have already confiscated the true assault weapons, machine guns, and now they want to take the rest.

A fully automatic weapon (a machine gun) is one that fires a succession of bullets so long as the trigger is depressed or until the ammunition supply is exhausted. In addition, any weapon that shoots, is designed to shoot, or can be readily restored to shoot automatically, more than one shot at a time by a single trigger pull, is legally considered to be a machine gun.

Submachine guns are fully automatic weapons that fire a handgun cartridge and can be operated by one person. Sometimes they are referred to as machine pistols.

A machine gun can normally fire between 400 and 1,000 rounds (bullets) per minute, or between 7 and 17 rounds per second.

    Federal Firearms Regulations

It has been unlawful since 1934 (The National Firearms Act) for civilians to own machine guns without special permission from the U.S. Treasury Department. Machine guns are subject to a $200 tax every time their ownership changes from one federally registered owner to another, and each new weapon is subject to a manufacturing tax when it is made, and it must be registered with the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in its National Firearms Registry.’

    Full Auto Weapons

Time to draw a line, peeps, or they will take the silence for consent.

  • Injunjoe

I guess if I’m to be a criminal for owning a weapon I may as well be one for using it…

@ grampy. Do you really think that there is a swat team member out there that would take away a fellow citizens right to bear arms. They are people just like us and most police I know are pretty big gun people themselves. And even if you could get a team together, the surrounding areas gun owners would get together and squash any gov’t team trying to take their neighbors guns.

We should all be grateful that Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo has come out of the Über-liberal closet so that there can be no doubt how unqualified he is to seek the presidency.

    Lady Mondegreen commented:

“The tide is turning. The media is suddenly reporting on every shooting in the country and public opinion is headed toward strong support for gun regulations. This is going to be another wedge issue in 2014, and we’re going to lose even more seats ….”

What’s this “we” stuff? That’s exactly the result you’re after.

  • the reason these politicans want to disarm the citizens is because they know they have enslaved the american workers and they are afraid the slaves might stage an uprising.
