Rick Santelli Goes Off!… “The Fed Doesn’t Have a Clue, Either Does the President, or Congress!” (Video)

CNBC’s Rick Santelli was in rare form today.
The on-air editor blasted the Fed, President Obama, Timothy Geithner and Congress over the fiscal cliff fiasco.
Notice the crowd cheering him on in the background–

The Huffington Post reported:

During a discussion on the so-called fiscal cliff on Thursday, Santelli grew louder, eventually shouting into the camera and overpowering CNBC contributor and trader Jim Iuorio, who was attempting to hold back laughter.

“The Fed doesn’t have a clue, neither does the president, neither does Congress … Neither does Tim Geithner, who gives a speech about the debt ceiling. I’d like to see if he could count to a million, much less 16.4 trillion!” Santelli shouted.

Clearly Santelli, like many Americans, is panicking as the fiscal cliff deadline nears.

With solid, pro-American, highly rational people like Santelli and the Money Honey on the payroll, what are the odds that the d-cRAT socialist extremists that own cnbc simply pull the plug on the network? (or , replace these people with the leftist nitwits from msnbc!)

Santelli is spot on. . Obama, Reid, Tax-cheat Geitner haven’t a clue and Boehner doesn’t have balls. . .

    The latest from “DHS Insider”

[DH: Wait, you’re DHS—not some Wall Street insider.

RB: So you think they are separate agendas? That’s funny. The coming collapse of the U.S. dollar is a done deal. It’s been in the works for years—decades, and this is one of the most important cataclysmic events that DHS is preparing for. I almost think that DHS was created for that purpose alone, to fight Americans, not protect them, right here in America. But that’s not the only reason. There’s the gun issue too.]

…and in their defense, those were selected, apparently, for their vitriol, out of 1,400+ comments…

So I decided to sort by popularity:

If it isn’t sorted by popularity, you can by clicking the “popularity” (vs. “recency”) link at the top of the thread.

Most of these are better than I expected for this crowd. But, a lot of surprise and near amazement and seeming forced replies by fellow Dems. Kinda like when they chant “We’re peaceful, Yeah!” to each other, as a reminder at their rallies. A kinda grim, shouldn’t-be-necessary reminder. Because they know people are watching.

The test of character is what they do when nobody is watching… Keying cars, stealing newspapers, wishing gruesome, prolonged death upon a lady from Alaska they don’t even freakin’ know, infiltrating every American institution… you know, things like that.

Twitter, though, kinda adds another dimension to that axiom, “people who use their real name on a forum that is by it’s nature public and still spout pure insane evil and death-wishery” — I guess knowing that since “all our henhouse are belong to their foxes” that nobody will ever come after them. And they’re right.

    GLF-II, “American Mao x10 edition”.

Ayers and Dorhn have been planning this for years, following through with Marx’s (and Gramsci’s, and Mao’s) vision.

And we were too blinded by our idol, from radio-plays to silver screen Hollywood to FM to UHF and VHF to 4,000 channels in ultra-HD. Telling us, programming us just “the way it is.”

GLF-II. Half my train of thought in my last comment was in mind of that (alleged, admittedly) interview.

Crazy, scary crap going on. Lists being made (oh, damn right most of us are on the Red list, and plans in place to “deal” with those on the Red list.)

Some of our “trolls” are undoubtedly on the Blue list. YAY! You sick fu&ks get to fill mass graves and feel no remorse until your feeble a$$ knows it’s about to kick the bucket!

  • i disagree with santelli i think they know exactly what they are doing.

  • JDR

Oh, and people on the Blue list?

Think of all the rapey and torturey things you’ll be able to do!

“…AND when you kill someone, you get all their STUFF!” — Che Guevara, your hero-god.

“Mean People Suck” — which is why we should kill 50 million or so Americans… they’re MEAN.

I pray God’s justice be done BEFORE you Progs do as Mao, Stalin, and Hitler did; as the Japanese did at Nanking; as countless tribes have done in pure, naked evil, each one shouting “FORWARD!”

shadow, I used to have a grammer, but they both died.

  • JDR

    Shadow, I offer my congratulations.

This is the first time I have ever agreed with you.

Come on, Jim. Get an editor. Have your next-door neighbor proofread your posts (and your LINKS), for the love of all that is Holy. NPR and the NYT may not have those “layers and layers of fact-checkers” they bragged about, but you’re not helping to counter the image of the “toothless* bloggers in their pajamas” meme. Those outlets, to their credit despite that they want mass graves Mao-style in America, can at least double-check their work.

I have not counted the number of times I’ve seen atrocious grammar and hideous spelling in both your “copy” (as it were) and your URL text. I’m glad that I have not counted these errors. I only have twenty digits.

Don’t be proud! Get an editor to IN ABOUT 45 SECONDS, proofread your copy for you!

A better, more economical, approach, would be to re-read your copy (and the text of your URLS) beforehand. My grandmother was an English teacher, and she would have long ago threatened to take out the Black Snake and beat you. I never knew what that was — and for that I am thankful.

First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists
Richard Andrew Cloward and his wife Frances Fox Piven (today Piven is
an honorary chair for the Democratic Socialists of America), the “Cloward
-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the
government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing
society into crisis and economic collapse.

    “When the revolution comes…”

[That take was quickly reinforced on Tuesday, when Obama, almost chastising his angry left-wing base for not understanding political realities, analogized Republicans to “hostage-takers,” holding Obama and America and its poor and proletariat ransom to tax cuts for the bloody rich. The president bemoaned his moral dilemma, forced as he was to “negotiate” with Republicans, who kneel before what Obama described as “their Holy Grail”: “tax cuts for the wealthy.” It was a stunning metaphor, and rather offensive: That cup overfloweth, apparently, with the real presence of the blood of the workers, which Republicans and their loyal factory bosses and greedy landlords slurp up from the fruits of the assembly line.]

[Boss and Obama, however, had a starkly different view. They believed that the economic stresses of the Carter years meant revolution was still imminent. The election of Reagan was simply a minor set-back in terms of the coming revolution. As I recall, Obama repeatedly used the phrase “When the revolution comes….” In my mind, I remember thinking that Obama was blindly sticking to the simple Marxist theory that had characterized my own views while I was an undergraduate at Occidental College. “There’s going to be a revolution,” Obama said, “we need to be organized and grow the movement.” In Obama’s view, our role must be to educate others so that we might usher in more quickly this inevitable revolution.]

[I had been a leader of the Marxist students at Occidental College myself, starting in 1976 when I founded the precursor of the Democrat Socialist Alliance on campus. The young Obama I knew was a Marxist socialist who would have been quite comfortable with Communist party members like his Hawaii mentor Frank Marshall Davis, retired domestic terrorists like Bill Ayers, or active socialist politicians like Illinois State Senator Alice Palmer.]

more in connecting links and threads..

In 1969, Weather Underground founders Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn (who were to become Pres. Obama’s personal friends and associates for many years) put Charles Manson on the cover of their occasional newspaper, “Fire”. At what was billed as a “War Council” in Flint Michigan that same year, Ayers and his comrades took to greeting eachother with “the fork” – three fingers pointed upwards, in honor of Manson. (Google Dohrn’s Flint conference quote on Manson – and Sharon Tate, who was 8 1/2 months pregnant at the time.) In 1972 Ayers dedicated the WU’s manifesto, “Prairie Fire”, to his cultural and political heroes – a list which included Sen. Robert Kennedy’s assassin, Sirhan Sirhan.

I admit to fabricating that part of the quote when, ah, paraphrasing….

  • JDR

    But don’t fret, Shadow.

    You’re on the Blue List.

You’re gonna get one of our HOUSES!

    How cool is that?

Don’t worry, twice! You won’t have to smell, like the Polish, Dutch, and Germans did, the stench of burning bodies! America has lots of land. Lots of empty, Government-owned land, far away from cities.

When you get your house, do me a favor. Say a prayer of thanks for all the people who are dead or being worked to death or being “re-educated” that used to live in your new house. God gave you that house, because those were His people, more than likely, that worked for it and raised families in it.

You’ll get more than you wished for, Shadow. More than you can even imagine.

The stockmarket is a bogus indicator of the state of the economy…

The more money the feds printed keeps the stockmarket a float..
That is because the value of the dollar is dropping with every new dollar printed out of thin air. The number of stocks available are basically fixed.

The fact of the mater is the feds are over spending more that 40 (plus) billion a month.
The are feds are now buying American debt. This will devalue the dollar at a rate of 3 to 4% a month. In 33 months the dollar will valueless.

Now you know why they want our GUNS……….

The dollar is going to lose it’s Global standing. Proof that nobody wants it any more.

before you say boehner has no balls or guts…
    remember 2 things:

    1) the dems had a supermajority and rammed obamacare through
against public approval – and now your stuck with that sh*t for at least 20 yrs
    2) if boehner is voted out and dems regain power…
…guess who the majority leader will be…. yup. Pelosi

    now, compared to pelosi….
we’re much better off with boehner at least for now…
…til the dems force pelosi to retire, or dems lose the whitehouse and the senate.

Oh, they have a clue. They know exactly what they are doing. Obama and his pack of flying monkeys want it to go over the cliff.

  • Freddy

So I took a flier and looked at that Huffpo story and read a few comments.

The huffpo completely missed Santelli’s point and the people that comment there are just as clueless.

Santelli was pointing out how this ‘tax cliff’ was nothing compared to the spending and monetization of debt that the Federal Reserve is now undertaking. Santelli explained that even if ALL rates are raised, the underlying problem is still not addressed.

Are the people at the Huffpo so confused that they can no longer listen?
