Pravda to Americans: Never Give Up Your Guns

Under the Tsar, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. (Zinnfigur)

Pravda warns Americans today, “Never give up your guns.”

These days, there are few few things to admire about the socialist, bankrupt and culturally degenerating USA, but at least so far, one thing remains: the right to bare arms and use deadly force to defend one’s self and possessions.

This will probably come as a total shock to most of my Western readers, but at one point, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. This was, of course, when we were free under the Tsar. Weapons, from swords and spears to pistols, rifles and shotguns were everywhere, common items. People carried them concealed, they carried them holstered. Fighting knives were a prominent part of many traditional attires and those little tubes criss crossing on the costumes of Cossacks and various Caucasian peoples? Well those are bullet holders for rifles.

Various armies, such as the Poles, during the Смута (Times of Troubles), or Napoleon, or the Germans even as the Tsarist state collapsed under the weight of WW1 and Wall Street monies, found that holding Russian lands was much much harder than taking them and taking was no easy walk in the park but a blood bath all its own. In holding, one faced an extremely well armed and aggressive population Hell bent on exterminating or driving out the aggressor.

This well armed population was what allowed the various White factions to rise up, no matter how disorganized politically and militarily they were in 1918 and wage a savage civil war against the Reds. It should be noted that many of these armies were armed peasants, villagers, farmers and merchants, protecting their own. If it had not been for Washington’s clandestine support of and for the Reds, history would have gone quite differently.

Moscow fell, for example, not from a lack of weapons to defend it, but from the lieing guile of the Reds. Ten thousand Reds took Moscow and were opposed only by some few hundreds of officer cadets and their instructors. Even then the battle was fierce and losses high. However, in the city alone, at that time, lived over 30,000 military officers (both active and retired), all with their own issued weapons and ammunition, plus tens of thousands of other citizens who were armed. The Soviets promised to leave them all alone if they did not intervene. They did not and for that were asked afterwards to come register themselves and their weapons: where they were promptly shot.

Of course being savages, murderers and liars does not mean being stupid and the Reds learned from their Civil War experience. One of the first things they did was to disarm the population. From that point, mass repression, mass arrests, mass deportations, mass murder, mass starvation were all a safe game for the powers that were. The worst they had to fear was a pitchfork in the guts or a knife in the back or the occasional hunting rifle. Not much for soldiers…

Anyone know anything about the new XDS Single Stack .45acp? Good for women? Thanks.

The ONLY reason to disarm an entire population is to prevent rebellion or revolution.

They were asked to come and register their weapons, where they were promptly shot.

This was not even 100 years ago. Just sayin.

“We don’t let them have ideas. Why would we let them have guns?” Joseph Stalin

“If the opposition disarms, well and good. If it refuses to disarm, we shall disarm it ourselves.” Joseph Stalin

In 1911, Turkey imposed gun control and then, from 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians were murdered.
In 1929, the Soviet Union imposed gun control and over the next 24 years about 20 million dissidents were murdered.
In 1938, Germany imposed gun control and then over the next seven years 13 million Jews and other victims were murdered.

“Firearms stand next in importance to the constitution itself. They are the American people’s liberty teeth and keystone under independence … from the hour the Pilgrims landed to the present day, events, occurences and tendencies prove that to ensure peace security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable … the very atmosphere of firearms anywhere restrains evil interference — they deserve a place of honor with all that’s good.”
    George Washington

Personally, I think this will push this country into a Civil War. This will be the straw that breaks the camels back. I don’t think any current govt. official will be safe. Rightfully so, I might add.

There are those who feel a plan to do this has been in the works for years. There are those who say that Fluoride in the drinking water is to calm the nation down.

Our Government is capable of anything as you all know, anything.

    All sounds crazy? maybe not.

If a brown army comes knocking at your door and ask for your guns, will you die with a gun in your hand? Or give up? Obama plans to act on Gun Control and from what I have seen of this guy, he is dead serious, this go round. THANKS VOTERS, SARC!!

Occupiers Arrested With Large Cache Of Weapons And Bomb Making Materials

I doubt we’ll hear much outrage from lawmakers on the left or the main stream media over the occupiers who were arrested with a large cache of weapons and bomb making materials in New York City. It doesn’t fit the narrative.

The privileged daughter of a prominent city doctor, and her boyfriend — a Harvard grad and Occupy Wall Street activist — have been busted for allegedly having a cache of weapons and a bombmaking explosive in their Greenwich Village apartment.

Morgan Gliedman — who is nine-months pregnant — and her baby daddy, Aaron Greene, 31, also had instructions on making bombs, including a stack of papers with a cover sheet titled, “The Terrorist Encyclopedia,’’ sources told The Post yesterday.

People who know Greene say his political views are “extreme,” the sources said.

The police discovered the weapons because Gliedman was wanted for credit card theft. They also found instructions for making bombs, and an explosive powder that is so strong they evacuated several surrounding buildings. And that’s not all.

Cops also allegedly uncovered papers about creating homemade booby traps, improvised submachine guns, and various handwritten notebooks containing chemical formulas.

Do you think stricter gun laws would have stopped these two?

I don’t give a crap what Pravda has to say on this issue or anything else. Like Piers Morgan, Pravda should keep to themselves their opinions of what America and Americans should and should not do.

    Pravda is not your friend.

And then we find out everyone from the EPA to the DHS just bought a buttload of ammunition prior to the Christmas school-shooting season. Not saying that was a plot, with the help of the media anything can be glamorized for the gun controllers.

Many valid points. Poles in early 1600s, Swedes in early 1700s, French in early 1800s & then Germans in first half of 20th century learned not to mess with Russians.

When Lenin was deported to Siberia by tsarist authorities, he was allowed to take with him his library & his hunting rifle. Just think about levels of oppression under various regimes.

I wanted to bring this to the attention of all my ‘friends’ on facebook but didn’t want to direct their attention to a website in Russia. Thank you for a second source.

    …as though my friends care…..

It doesn’t matter anyway. It all starts out as ooohs, and aaaahs, then it is running and screaming. . . . and being eaten.

Want to bet that those two occupier loonies are planning on attacking conservatives? Obama and his cronies have pushed this country to the Brink of civil war. They are just waiting for some conservative or someone they can paint as conservative to fire on the brown shirts when they come for guns then they will for the safety of the nation start the rounding up and purging of constitutionally minded individuals. The whole point of the gun control debate is to push conservatives into striking first.

[For those of us fighting for our traditional rights, the US 2nd Amendment is a rare light in an ever darkening room. Governments will use the excuse of trying to protect the people from maniacs and crime, but are in reality, it is the bureaucrats protecting their power and position. In all cases where guns are banned, gun crime continues and often increases. As for maniacs, be it nuts with cars (NYC, Chapel Hill NC), swords (Japan), knives (China) or home made bombs (everywhere), insane people strike. They throw acid (Pakistan, UK), they throw fire bombs (France), they attack. What is worse, is, that the best way to stop a maniac is not psychology or jail or “talking to them”, it is a bullet in the head, that is why they are a maniac, because they are incapable of living in reality or stopping themselves.

The excuse that people will start shooting each other is also plain and silly. So it is our politicians saying that our society is full of incapable adolescents who can never be trusted? Then, please explain how we can trust them or the police, who themselves grew up and came from the same culture?

No it is about power and a total power over the people. There is a lot of desire to bad mouth the Tsar, particularly by the Communists, who claim he was a tyrant, and yet under him we were armed and under the progressives disarmed. Do not be fooled by a belief that progressives, leftists hate guns. Oh, no, they do not. What they hate is guns in the hands of those who are not marching in lock step of their ideology. They hate guns in the hands of those who think for themselves and do not obey without question. They hate guns in those whom they have slated for a barrel to the back of the ear.

So, do not fall for the false promises and do not extinguish the
light that is left to allow humanity a measure of self respect.]

Amen & Thank You Stanislav Mishin

    “When the revolution comes…”

[That take was quickly reinforced on Tuesday, when Obama, almost chastising his angry left-wing base for not understanding political realities, analogized Republicans to “hostage-takers,” holding Obama and America and its poor and proletariat ransom to tax cuts for the bloody rich. The president bemoaned his moral dilemma, forced as he was to “negotiate” with Republicans, who kneel before what Obama described as “their Holy Grail”: “tax cuts for the wealthy.” It was a stunning metaphor, and rather offensive: That cup overfloweth, apparently, with the real presence of the blood of the workers, which Republicans and their loyal factory bosses and greedy landlords slurp up from the fruits of the assembly line.

“These tax cuts for the wealthy — “said a visibly bitter Obama”
    — this is, seems to be, their central economic doctrine.”

    flashback to February 22, 2009

The Revolt of the Kulaks Has Begun

[This movement can succeed if it does not stop at protest and includes changes in economic behavior. Obama’s redistributive plans require higher taxation, but higher tax plans (to be announced this week by Obama) are based on the fallacy that the “rich” will not change their economic behavior in reaction to higher tax rates.

History tells us, however, that economic redistribution plans fail because the producers of society would rather not produce, than have the fruits of their production taken away and given to others. Obama can raise the tax rates on income, but he cannot force people to generate income to be taxed. People may just say “no.” This resistance will not come from evading taxes, but from evading taxable income. In the end, as must all economic redistributors, Obama either will have to resort to repressive measures, or he will have to abandon his redistributive plans.]

Murder By Communism (by any other
name, the results are the same) *-(

[How can we understand all this killing by communists? It is the marriage of an absolutist ideology with the absolute power. Communists believed that they knew the truth, absolutely. They believed that they knew through Marxism what would bring about the greatest human welfare and happiness. And they believed that power, the dictatorship of the proletariat, must be used to tear down the old feudal or capitalist order and rebuild society and culture to realize this utopia. Nothing must stand in the way of its achievement. Government–the Communist Party–was thus above any law. All institutions, cultural norms, traditions, and sentiments were expendable. And the people were as though lumber and bricks, to be used in building the new world.

Constructing this utopia was seen as though a war on poverty, exploitation, imperialism, and inequality. And for the greater good, as in a real war, people are killed. And thus this war for the communist utopia had its necessary enemy casualties, the clergy, bourgeoisie, capitalists, wreckers, counterrevolutionaries, rightists, tyrants, rich, landlords, and noncombatants that unfortunately got caught in the battle. In a war millions may die, but the cause may be well justified, as in the defeat of Hitler and an utterly racist Nazism. And to many communists, the cause of a communist utopia was such as to justify all the deaths. The irony of this is that communism in practice, even after decades of total control, did not improve the lot of the average person, but usually made their living conditions worse than before the revolution. It is not by chance that the greatest famines have occurred within the Soviet Union (about 5,000,000 dead during 1921-23 and 7,000,000 from 1932-3) and communist China (about 27,000,000 dead from 1959-61). In total almost 55,000,000 people died in various communist famines and associated diseases, a little over 10,000,000 of them from democidal famine. This is as though the total population of Turkey, Iran, or Thailand had been completely wiped out. And that something like 35,000,000 people fled communist countries as refugees, as though the countries of Argentina or Columbia had been totally emptied of all their people, was an unparalleled vote against the utopian pretensions of Marxism-Leninism.]

Secrets of Communism (by any other
name, the results are the same) *-(

“There is no difference between communism and socialism, except in
the means of achieving the same ultimate end: communism proposes
to enslave men by force, socialism – by vote. It is merely the difference
    between murder and suicide.”
    — Ayn Rand
