Obama Urges Congress to Keep Working on Fiscal Cliff …Then Jets Off to Hawaii

Barack Obama told Congress to keep working on a solution to the “fiscal cliff” today. He said he hoped Congress would craft at least a minimal fiscal cliff deal.

Then, according to FOX News, 90 minutes later he was off to Hawaii for his $4 million three week vacation.

Is the dog flying on his own plane this year?

@ GOP – Obama will be back on Wednesday to further the collapse of the country.

Obama is likely to have a short trip this year; aides said he is scheduled to return Wednesday, a day after Christmas, to resume discussions with congressional leaders on how to avert the fiscal cliff.

All they do when they meet is to laugh at the way the idiot citizenry fall for these dog and pony shows every time. Boehner is a disgrace and needs to be removed as Speaker so a true leader can be assigned. Remember, the Speaker need not be an elected member of the House.

So… our current President taught Alinski, our current Sec of State wrote a thesis on Alinkski, and our new Sec of State called his fellow veterans “Barbarians”. What an awesome, American-loving crew!

Yes, Boehner needs to be replaced.

I believe Rep Darrell Issa should be a contender.

I watched him give his little speech jabbing Repubs, thinking what you said the entire time. Away he goes on vacation but must shake his finger and demand that Congress stay and work. We use to call that gall.

I stay so outraged between Obama, Poop Scoopers and Elected Voices that it is a real tossup as to who should be my rant of the day. Been staying quiet but between McCain’s good buddy Kerry and Boehner, I give up. Listened to McCain give an interview the other night where he said absolutely we did not get any info from all that torture. You do know that Bush needs to thank McCain for branding not only him but the USA as torturers. Dems loved him until he ran.

Kerry? Might as well make it a joint appointment and spread the duties between Fonda and Kerry. McCain loves Kerry. Regardless of what he says, he almost…..almost ran as his VP. He needs to retire like 12 years ago. Just go. You do one thing very good and then stab a half dozen. Just go.

Boehner. I call them ELECTED voices. They manage to do The Silence better than Scoopers. They allowed the Scoopers and Dems to brand this economy as Bush’s. I spit when they sit there and not only allow it, but some nod their heads. Spit. Spit. Spit.

I have been ranting about our ELECTED voices since they managed to lose 2006. Yep, those wimps lost it. Not Bush. All through last year, I ranted that we need leadership.

VOTE BOEHNER OUT. No, do not elect Cantor. He is wrong also. Find a VOICE ready to fight. Vote Newt. He could not hold it together for President but he knows this office. He could not possibly be worse than what we have suffered from 2006. Give me DeLay.

I read it is possible. Do it. I vote Newt. I vote West. I vote a total stranger off the street as long as they have a VOICE that sounds like flyover America. I have grown to dislike our leadership. Big Time.

Give me someone that will stand up and shout that Obama is going on vacation.

Well, that little jaunt will easily add an extra million or two to the $4 million price tag for the trip.

O Lord, with all your magnificence and power, make it rain in Hawaii for the next three weeks, Amen.

The sole problem with removing Boehner is that by the time the opportunity comes up, January 2013 when the new session of Congress starts and the Speakership is voted upon, the fiscal cliff crisis has already passed. Either Crying Johnny gives Barry all he is demanding to wreck havoc on Free Market Capitalism or the economy has been thrown off the edge and in free fall from the largest tax increases ever. Removing Boehner will only be a “close the barn door after all the livestock has been stolen” situation.

Mind you, I am by NO stretch of the imagination suggesting Boehner should be retained, but whoever gets the Speakership must understand that “business as usual” bipartisan give-and-take era is over. That person will be walking into a situation that everything they do (and don’t do) will be treated as treason, Un-American and hyper-extreme by the Left and the Dems.

My guess is “Crying Game”Boner will further try and punish those who oppose him, within the GOP caucus of course.

Obama “just words” – “Do as I say, Not as I do.”

Can you imagine – just imagine – the feeding frenzy if Bush did this – not to mention that he would be pulverized. I want just ONE Obamabot idiot to defend this, just one.

Seat the new Congress…. then Repubs elect a NEW Speaker. Bye-bye , Boehner. Agree with “owl”… how about Gingrich? Dingy Harry would just love it.
