Catholics for Obama wanted to hold a rally but only 45 people showed up so they had a group discussion.
Catholic News Agency reported, via FOX Nation:

The Obama campaign attempted to schedule a rally-like event on a Catholic university campus in the key swing state of Colorado before settling on a dialogue with a co-chair of Catholics for Obama.

“Their original intent was to have more of a rally element to it,” said Paul Alexander, director of Regis University’s Institute for the Common Good, which hosted the event.

“We just felt we couldn’t do a rally, but we felt a healthy dialogue among Catholics was important.”

About 45 people attended the Oct. 25 dialogue and small group discussion with Catholics for Obama national co-chair Nicholas P. Cafardi, a law professor and dean emeritus of Duquesne University School of Law.

  1. Catholics for Obama = Jews for Hitler.

  2. God is watching those 45!

  3. low turnout: it’s Bush’s fault

  4. This is the word I’ve heard: you cannot be a good Catholic and vote for Obama. I know many Catholics that don’t like Romney, but are not voting for O. Will be interesting to see how the Catholic vote goes overall…

  5. Catholics and Jews are not as excited for BO as before, he demonstrated his “OTHER” face and it is not good. Heard 84% of Americans in Isreal voting Romney…

  6. 2+2=4. No amount of “dialogue” can ever change it. Killing babies is evil. Fecal sex is an abomination. So saith, the Lord.

  7. Catholics who voted for Obama in ’08 should still have to work the salt mines in Purgatory. Those that vote for him again in 2012 are pure evil.

  8. i hope the lack of support for obama carries over to the democratic candidates for congress. everyone of them supported obama’s destroy america agenda every step of the way. allegiance to the party trumped allegiance to their constitutents.

  9. The only thing left now is to go and vote. Please bombard all the talk show hosts in your states with emails to dwell exclusively on pushing people to get and vote on Monday and Tuesday. This should be all they have to talk about instead of talking about the polls. Polls are not important now at this eleventh hour. Tell them to put urgency in their voice when pushing people to get out and vote early. We need to win this election, we need to win the presidency, we need to win the senate, we need to keep the house for the survival of this country. GET OUT AND VOTE LIKE YOUR LIVES DEPEND ON IT!!

Sorry, this is OT, but I just saw this article… not sure how to email it to Drudge… this is absolutely stunning!

    http://www.brooklynpaper.com/stories/35/44/all_martysnubbed_2012_11_02_bk.html

The national guard was rejected from coming to help the Brooklyn bourough. The bourough president pleaded for the national guard and Bloomie rejected it! WTF!?! Now the Brooklyn president is pleading with the gouvernor cuomo to allow the NY national guard to help them. I have never heard anything like this!

    from the article:
“Mayor Bloomberg has snubbed Borough President Markowitz’s impassioned plea to bring the National Guard to Hurricane Sandy-scarred Brooklyn — arguing that approving the Beep’s request would be a waste of federal manpower and turn the borough into a police state.

“We don’t need it,” Mayor Bloomberg said on Wednesday during a press update on the city’s ongoing Hurricane Sandy cleanup. “The NYPD is the only people we want on the street with guns.”

Markowitz demanded the National Guard’s help just an hour before Bloomberg’s press conference, claiming that the NYPD and FDNY are “brave — but overwhelmed” by all the challenges Sandy brought when it visited the borough on Monday night: flooding, power outages, and looting.

“All of our resources have been stretched to the limit,” Markowitz said. “In the name of public safety we need to send more National Guard personnel into Coney Island, Manhattan Beach, Gerritsen Beach, Red Hook, and any other locations.”

Markowitz hopes that the sight of an armed soldier would deter criminal activity in the still-unaccessible evacuation zones — such as the rash of break-ins that took place in Coney Island hours after Sandy kissed the borough goodbye — but the Mayor said the NYPD was more than capable of handling the job.

“There are plenty of locations upstate and in surrounding states where they don’t have a police department the size of New York and they can use help [from the National Guard],” said Bloomberg.

Markowitz said he was surprised by the Mayor’s response, but was sticking to his guns.

“We stand by our statement 100 percent,” said Markowitz spokesman John Hill. “We hope the governor will listen to our request.”

The two politicians, who are both in their final terms, often appear together at borough events — but this is not the first time they’ve been at odds. ……”

  12. There needs to be a whole lot more excommunicatin’ going on when people like Biden and Pelosi can run around calling themselves “Christians”.

This is a great sign that our Veterans and Heroes are making a stand and they will, WE ALL WILL.

For them and for all our Military past and present. THIS IS AMERICA AFTER ALL, OBAMA JUST DOESN’T GET IT.
