MORE DEAD BODIES Discovered in Sandy’s Wake – Media Yawns – Obama Golfs

They’re finding more dead decomposing bodies in Hurricane Sandy’s wake.
But it’s not really news. The media couldn’t care less.

And Obama’s golfing.

The only reason the latest victim was found was because the stench was so great in the neighborhood.
The New York Post reported:

Hurricane Sandy’s latest victim may also be her loneliest.

Cops found the body of David Maxwell in his Staten Island home on Friday after it lay undiscovered for 11 days — with his neighbors thinking he had fled before the storm.

The 66-year-old lived alone with his cat — which also died — in the modest yellow, two-family house on Mapleton Avenue in Midland Beach. The home now stands in a flooded wasteland of trash, ruined furniture, mold and mildew.

“It’s so horrible,” said neighbor Dorothy Matthews, 71. “He was alone in the world except for his cat and his partner in the nursing home.”

“I don’t know who called it in, but it was probably someone who thought the smell came from rotting flesh,” she added. “It smelled so bad out here the past few days.”

The death of Maxwell, who friends said was a Marine who served in Vietnam, is the 23rd in the borough attributed to Sandy.

Citywide, Sandy’s death toll hit 43 yesterday as a 77-year-old Rockaways man was added to the list.

Maxwell’s partner, James McCormick, 72, recently suffered a stroke and resides in the Carmel Richmond Nursing Home.

McCormick’s caretaker, Irene Fontanez, came to the home yesterday to retrieve Maxwell’s book of stamps — his only prized possession.

“We were wondering why he hadn’t visited or called in so long,” she said. “He shouldn’t have been left here for so long.”

Neighbors said they checked on Maxwell, an avid stamp collector, the day the storm struck, but no one answered the door of his first-floor home, so they assumed he fled.

There is exactly one media report on this latest discovery.
Being Democrat has benefits.

I’m afraid that the only way we’ll get Obama and Mooch out of the White House is with an “exorcism.”

Damn shame the storm couldn’t have gone into Manhattan and razed that chit hole nest of progressive traitors to the ground and left the rest of the city alone.

When he gets thenext two appointments to the Supreme Ct, couynt on the Succession Amendment-tow terms only -being overturned. all this wtwaddle about who rund in 2016 is silly, Obama is going to run and win and run and win for years. He is our Somoza, He is our Trujillo…
There are NY congressers working on scotching it.

The victim was a Marine and Vietnam veteran. Just a bump in the road for Obama and the Democrats.

How terribly sad, esp on Veterans Day.

Sorta like Gateway Pundit, Hot Air, Drudge, and the GOP are yawning over the 140% plus voter turnout in St Lucie Florida. Our own side is just as good at ignoring important stories.

I know. I get it. You don’t want to be thought of as one of those crackpots and risk your reputation as a “legitimate journalist”, right? So, you just bury stories like this.

You’re no better than Chris Matthews.

Well, it is said that you get the government you deserve.

Hurricane Sandy and its victims served their purpose.

Now let them eat cake (or more accurately, garbage).

Obama has better things to do. /s

In all honesty, I’d like to see someone come in and rescue all the kids, but leave all the adults in those heavily “D” states to deal with the consequences of their preference for “Big Government Solutions”.

Elections have consequences, and if we keep bailing people out — even in tragic disasters like this — nobody will ever learn.

  • Sparky

I keep saying that the media is an arm of the Democrat Party. Ignore this fact at your peril.

Of course they are going to be Obama friendly and filter the news accordingly.

That is why the Republican Party must only elect politicians who will openly call the media on their lies and bias.

The question now is whether the Blue States will be able to successfully rob the Red States of State collected funds thru the collective might of the all powerful Federal Gov’t. This seems to have the potential to initiate a 2nd Civil War; between the fiscally sound and unsound States. It would be a war of raw, nakedfiscal confiscation. Why should we here in Indiana send our hard earned dollars to California and New York to pay for those people’s drugs and welfare as they lay on their lazy asses and get high all day? Socialism is nothing but robbery of workers to pay lazy bastards whose only job is to vote one day every 4 years. I wish Indiana would join Louisiana in contemplating secession. More people will come to this conclusion as this Gov’t robbery becomes more recognized.

How is that hope and change working out for yah? Maybe they should start cleaning up themselves instead of waiting for government to help them.

not much sympathy here, their states voted overwhelmingly for this, they knew exactly what they were getting.

The bodies must not be minorities — that’s the only thing that would garner action by the media or Obama.

  • Rhinestone Suderman

    Not to worry, folks!

Obama will just put on another nifty looking bomber jacket, and fly down to see those folks, and take another phot-op with “Chubs” Christie, and tell all them folks he just loves folks like them, and he’s gonna take of you folks, and all them other folks, and all sortsa folks, all over this folksy country of ours.

Then, he’ll go back to golfing.

You get what you vote for. Folks.

    To recap:

If it’s regarding hurricane Katrina, it was all Bush’s fault.

If it’s regarding Superstorm Sandy, it was a Predictor Of Things To Come due to reichwing refusal to acknowledge the terrible reality of Global Climate Change (so it’s STILL the Rethuglicans’ fault).

If Cindy Sheehan’s son died overseas, it was all Bush’s fault (and was front page news for MONTHS).

If Charles Woods’ son died overseas in a terrorist attack on an unprotected consulate, and the President, the Secretary of State, and the US Ambassador to the UN all knowingly and deliberately lied about the culpability of this administration for his death, oh well, ho-hum, mere “bumps in the road” and so forth, these sad things happen, let’s move on…..

When The Revolution comes, someone else can round up the complicit lawyers and traitorous legislators; I’ll focus on the pretend “journalists” of the Progressive Party Propaganda Machine.

    uh, collective savior sir

    more videos at link..

    acording to your news reports

[With tens of thousands homeless and hundreds of thousands still
without power from Hurricane Sandy, the Northeast of the United
States was hit by another storm Wednesday night.

The new storm, a Northeaster striking the coastal areas of New
Jersey, New York and Connecticut, threatens to deepen the misery
still facing large numbers of people nine days after Sandy pummeled
the region with a record storm surge, high winds and rain, killing at
least 113 people in the US, disrupting power for millions and flooding
the New York City subway system.

The second storm in less than a week and a half will bring recovery
efforts to a temporary halt and may lead to more downed trees and
    power lines, causing further blackouts.

Without power or heat, residents of New York City neighborhoods
such as the Rockaways in Queens, Coney Island and Red Hook in
Brooklyn and large parts of Staten Island have already had to
endure temperatures that have dipped down to near-freezing
    at night this week.

Anger is continuing to build among some 20,000 residents of
public housing in the city who have still not had lights, heat or
water turned back on after a week and a half. Homeowners
and renters in the affected neighborhoods have also charged
that the administration of New York’s billionaire mayor, Michael
Bloomberg, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
and the Red Cross have been woefully slow in getting aid to
those who need it, while unlimited resources were lavished on
restoring the Wall Street stock exchange to full operations.]

    Obama And Wife Conjoined Racists

[Obama knew, just as I and everyone else in the media knew, and as those of us “inside the beltway” knew: it was the failure of Democrat Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco and Ray Nagin the black Democrat Mayor of New Orleans that was responsible for the high death tolls and stranding of people. Obama knew that Blanco and Nagin had failed to respond to George Bush’s warning 24-48 hours prior to Katrina hitting New Orleans that they start evacuating the residents.

As Tucker Carlson and Vince Coglianese of the Daily Caller wrote:
The people down in New Orleans they don’t care about as much!” Obama shouts in the video, which was shot in June of 2007 at Hampton University in Virginia. By contrast, survivors of Sept. 11 and Hurricane Andrew received generous amounts of aid, Obama explains. The reason? Unlike residents of majority-black New Orleans, the federal government considers those victims “part of the American family.

The racially charged and at times angry speech undermines Obama’s carefully-crafted image as a leader eager to build bridges between ethnic groups. For nearly 40 minutes, using an accent he almost never adopts in public, Obama describes a racist, zero-sum society, in which the white majority profits by exploiting black America. The mostly black audience shouts in agreement. The effect is closer to an Al Sharpton rally than a conventional campaign event. (Read more:

In truth, those responsible for the slow response were found in the very body Obama himself belonged to, i.e., the U.S. Senate. Among the chief complaints, i.e., specific criticisms, about the Stafford Act is that the Act didn’t give enough latitude to FEMA pursuant to how it responds to disasters. But the greatest criticism is reserved for obstruction of the expedient dispersion of aid due to bureaucratic red tape. And it is worth pointing out that the criticisms I reference are those made on the liberal PBS program Frontline. (SEE:; The Stafford Act; 1/6/09)

The bottom line is that we are presented with empirical proof of Obama fomenting racial discord and racial alienation for personal gain. But even now we see that it will not change the minds of those blinded by color of skin.

The Obama campaign calls it a “desperate attack.” Fascinating that pointing out the transpicuous racial prejudice fomented to a group already predisposed to those feelings is viewed as a “desperate attack.” Apparently, birds found floating on ponds and going quack-quack aren’t ducks either.]

    Dear New York,

Perhaps you will re-think the way you vote after this.

    Perhaps not.

  • Mike

You idiots complaining realize that many people die of many causes EVERY day…no matter when the president, or you for that matter, happens to go golfing…there will have been some tragic death somewhere in the country.
