Sununu Slams Obama: “When You’re Not That Bright You Can’t Get Better Prepared’ (Video)

Romney Campaign Chair weighed in on Barack Obama’s performance in last night’s debate calling the president “babbling,” “lazy,” and “disengaged.”
“When you’re not that bright you can’t get better prepared.”

From your lips to God’s ears.

A similar point is that when Obama has led us into so many failures in our economy, foreign policy and division within our nation, it’s very hard for him to have anything to bring to the fight. He’s on the losing, just for showing up.

  • If he’s this inept at preparing for a debate with a gentleman, what does he do to prepare to meet with TERRORISTS and Putin and China’s leaders who will eat him alive? He is totally UNFIT to be anywhere near the White House.

Romney Ad: ‘It’s Time for a New Path’

But what an ad: And please listen, it may seem like it is over for a second. Just Great Ad.

Sununu’s right. The puppet that is Barack Obama was chosen decades ago for his public appeal, good looks, ideology, rhetorical abilities and social origins – all traits necessary for the radical liberal movement to embody their plans for the American public. The puppet was given the right job, at the right place, at the right time.

Throughout all of this, however, true intelligence and integrity actually jeopardize the trait content, so is it surprising that they’re not there?

The Chair got knocked out last night by Mitt Romney

All I can say after watching the first presidential debate between Romney and Obama last night is “wow”. Momentum in a campaign can change on a dime. I remember when Herman Cain was at the top of the polls during the GOP primaries. The momentum was clearly on his side. He made one mistake though. He accepted an invitation to a Jackson- Douglas style debate from Newt Gingrich. Even though it was a friendly debate, Newt completely dominated the debate. From that point forward Newt started to surge in the polls at Cain’s expense. Last night was a terrible night for Barack Obama and a potential momentum changer. It’s not just me saying this. Even Obama’s most die hard loyalists were horrified at how poor Obama did and wonders what’s next going forward.

James Carville said on CNN last night that “Mitt Romney brought a CHAINSAW to the debate”.

The Washington Compost had to give the debate to Romney.

Liberal columnist Andrew Sullivan over at the Daily Beast said while blogging the debate live that “It was a disaster for Obama.

Obama’s bleached blond pom pom waving cheer leader Chris Matthews over at MSNBC was beside him wondering “What was going on”.

No talent comedian and brainy smurf pseudo intellectual Obama supporter Bill Maher tweeted after the debate “Obama Needs a Teleprompter”

And for those on the left and right who said Obama was an intellect, they are eating crow. Sununa got and so did I long ago.

America Wake Up to reality. Nothing hurts a man more when he lives a life on lies and believes them. Character of a man is admirable, to have both is commendable and winning is the Ultimate of all, especially when your words are the truth and you have experience and a proven career to show for it, and Romney does. He has heart.

More then a chair, Obama has lost the oval office. All Romney must do is shoot from the hip and continue on the same course and Romney will be the clear winner.

Clarity and facts will win this.

EXCEEDINGLY HARSH AND OUT OF TOUCH….Now you going to turn a BIG win into sympathy for a black man being put down by mean nasty old white men calling him a lazy boy…..Even if its true, you just don’t say it …. you just WON the debate …you don’t need to be spiking the ball with gratuitous insults .

Obama has been smart enough to get his way on just about everything. He has been smart enough to keep the corporate media obediant unto him. He has been smart enough to work his many deceptions that remain covered up to this very day. and he still just may be smart enough to steal this election and this country.

This could be the answer, New York Times Calls Obama ‘President Xanax’

Excerpted from The New York Times: This is the closing argument of a campaign. The jury has heard all the evidence that it’s going to hear. The candidates needed to deliver a strong, moving summation. We all know that Obama is capable of stirring oratory, but in the first debate he failed to deliver. The guy with the weaker case made the stronger statement, falsehoods and all, and that is a dangerous thing to allow so close to Election Day.

The Obama campaign must learn from this blunder: stronger is better. The last phase of the campaign is about impressions more than it is about policy.

It is unfortunate, but at this stage, for the undecided people in the middle, substance is a casualty of style. By that measure, Romney outshone the president at this debate.

There are two more chances for the president to change tactics, or at least to show up to the debates energized and nimble: President Xanax just doesn’t cut it.

The question is whether he will.

Now this guy is right there with Obama on the Intelligent factor.

Ed Schultz: Obama Didn’t ‘Counterpunch’ Because Whites Are Racist, Didn’t Want Them Calling Him ‘An Angry Black Man’

Nobody mentioned him being a black man until you did, Ed. Now what kind of whites would describe Obama as “an angry black man”? Racist ones, it goes without saying. Any ones opposing Obama he implies.

NewsBusters: With the folks at MSNBC, it always seems to come back to race. Network host Ed Schultz failed to disappoint this morning when he appeared on Thomas Roberts’s 11 a.m. Eastern MSNBC Live and suggested that racism was partly to blame for President Obama’s weak performance in the debate

    Oh, yes with video,

  • donh

Exactly #10…Use the debate incompetance to SUGGEST Obama may not be as bright as the media sold us…Raise suspicions about what he keeps hiding …
Remind the voters Psycho Joe Biden , and Elizabeth Warren, are PROVEN plagerizers and FRAUDS…….All the more urgency to DEMAND a release of Obama’s college papers and grades…… Exploit the debate failure by turning UP the pressure on what Obama’s hiding ……..Make it relevant to the voter …the pattern……that Obama’s also hiding from the issues ……ducking the problems…….avoiding his 4 year record as if it was a college transcript.

It’s not just that he’s not all that bright, but more important that he’s intellectually lazy.

Stupid AND crooked. Looks like he’s at it again: Loves him those credit card donations (from abroad too?):

Woodward, I think it was, who mentioned something must have been bothering BHO to do so poorly, like a story that was getting legs…this might be what he was referring to.

  • dwd

Let’s see the college transcripts and records–until then, Sununu’s claim is absolute truth: Obama’s not bright.

That’s how the world works these days… make an accusation and force the accused to refute it. Think Harry Reid and Romney’s fictional failure to pay taxes.

  • Clint Eastwood just added a chair for Joe Biden.

  • Estragon

Part of Obama’s problem is he is used to getting easy questions, talking as long as he wants to reduce the number of questions, and not taking any follow-ups. He is a man who dislikes being challenged – he resents it personally: people are supposed to take his Word as Gospel, without question or reservation.

This is why Valerie Jarrett, the crooked Chicago dealmaker, is his de facto Premier, controlling access to him so he doesn’t have to listen to opposing views.

This is why he looked tortured when Romney was speaking, looked down with closed eyes and grimaced face. He can’t stand it. He was “ordered” not to get drawn into making the kind of nasty remark he typically makes when challenged, and it causes him physical discomfort NOT to be an arrogant punk.

there they go again -snatching defeat out oif the jaws of victory. Let’s tell obama how to win, let’s tell him how to defeat romney. Hannity does it too Just stop you rino idiots…who gives ari[p what obama does, tell him to keep on…
These rino gopers get paid whether romney wins or not. We get lfte holding the bag. Eff them

  • Mikey

We have to be careful. the media is already re-shaping the debate, making it into a Romney 90 minute lie fest.
You best believe Axlerod and Crowley’s people are going over trap & trick questions to ask Romney next debate.
Socialists don’t give up power very easily.
And Obama showed us that “coal black eyes” stare he has, last night.

The media will stop at nothing to ensure an Obama win.
In fact the mainstream media has more to lose than Obama does.
They abandoned all journalistic standards and impartiality during this race.
If Obama loses, their credibility is shot.
Most will retire or be fired rather than suffer the indignity.
They certainly can’t work in journalism or TV again, if Romney wins.
No way they will let Romney win any more debates

So expect anything and quit gloating.
We just scored a goal. The game ain’t over by a long shot.

  • I’m not surprised that Sununu has contempt for Obama. Smart people really dislike not so smart people trying to act smart and getting away with it.

Obama is horribly unqualified by personality, temperament and intelligence.

He isn’t stupid. He is one of those guys who is just smart enough, and ideological certain to the point of being unable to see his own errors that he cannot be taught anything beyond what he wants to be taught or learn.

It started early and never stopped.

I know a man who you might recognize on TV. He is a guest on many political talk shows and has written many books. He used to sit with Juan Williams on FOX on occasion. One time I emailed him and asked why Juan, a man I though so smart, could be so wrong so often.

He answered me in one line. “Who says he’s smart…”

That is the difference between real intellectuals who might realize they are wrong after facts have come in to dispute their opinion and ideologues who are convinced they are right no matter what happens and it is everybody else’s fault.

Fine for talk show guest, BAD for Presidents.

  • Gary

Sorry, I have to disagree completely.
Obama didn’t get everything he wanted and have the media on his side because he’s smart enough. He got it because it all because his pigment was enough. Obama took away what was ordained to be Hillary Clinton’s, namely the nomination in 2008. It was because so many in the Dem party and the media were falling over themselves to hand it to a black candidate. No brilliance on his part.

On the point of this dig, I don’t think it was over the line, and I don’t think any listener with a brain is going to flop from Romney back to Obama because Sununu said something mean.
On the contrary, a great many people rally around this sort of confidence and disparaging of the other side. And you may not have noticed, but ridicule and derision are things that Obama simply can’t handle. We’ve never had a more thin-skinned president. I say exploit it.

  • valerie

Most of Barack Obama’s good performance in debate has mostly been in the minds of people who wanted other people to support him. I watched Hillary clean his clock in the primary, and the talking heads said he won.

PBS also finds itself on the defensive when opponents point out that it doesn’t need taxpayer money because it receives millions from the licensing of popular Sesame characters. Sesame Workshop receives millions from its Elmo-branded toys, but PBS doesn’t a dime.

As for Sesame Workshop’s reaction about becoming part of the political debate, company executives released a statement saying the organization has been “a proud partner of PBS for 43 years, and is dependent on PBS to distribute our commercial-free educational program. We do not comment on campaigns, but we’re happy we can all agree that everyone likes Big Bird.”

Planned Parenthood doesn’t need taxpayer money, supposedly their funding was cut but this is a lie.

Planned Parenthood posts profits in the ten’s of millions of dollars every year. So why exactly is the Obama administration continuing to hand money to the largest abortion provider and purveyor of birth control to underage girls?

Seems to me that Obama never met a baby he didn’t want to kill, particularly a black baby who has close to a 45% chance of being aborted.

Oh, sure – the feds say none of that money can be used for abortions. Problem is, money is fungible. One dollar is easily exchanged for another dollar. Even if Planned Parenthood kept seperate accounts (which they don’t), every dollar they receive from the taxpayers frees up another dollar to be used for abortion.

I can’t stop you from killing your child, nor can I intervene when a 13 year old receives birth control without the consent and knowledge of their parents, but I shouldn’t be forced to pay for it.

Has any other administration sued states as much as this one has?

    From LifeNews:

Obama Admin Sues to Force Arizona Fund Planned Parenthood

The Obama administration is suing the state of Arizona and claiming that its new law revoking taxpayer funding for the Planned Parenthood abortion business runs afoul of federal laws.

The Whole Woman’s Health Funding Priority Act of Arizona (HB 2800) de-funded abortion providers such as Planned Parenthood of state family planning money. The bill is based on model legislation developed by the SBA List and the Alliance Defense Fund, and prioritizes family planning funds away from abortion-centered businesses like Planned Parenthood to entities that provide women with comprehensive health care. read the rest

So, in retrospect Romney is correct. These two are a waste of taxpayer money. Now, there are two places where the taxpayers won’t be paying their hard earned money.

We can only hope more of our money can be saved by not having to contribute unless we wish too. That would be a good thing, now wouldn’t it?
