    An original quote from Adam Smith, but cited by both Milton Friedman and Thomas Sowell in their economics books:

    “It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker, that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own interest.”

    I guess it’s hard to demonize the butcher, the brewer and the baker. So it has to be the banks.

    And don’t forget the Democrat Convention was held in Bank of America Stadium, which at the time they all insisted on calling Panthers Stadium.
