National Geographic Bombarded With Jihadist Threats Over Osama Film …(Will Obama Apologize?)

National Geographic Channel’s Washington DC headquarters has increased security after receiving terror threats due to their latest project – the Osama Bin Laden film they are going to release two days before the election. The American media has ignored this story.
So far Barack Obama has not apologized.

Outrage: The National Geographic Channel has been bombarded with phone calls and blog posts from alleged Muslim extremists over the film. (Daily Mail)

The Daily Mail reported:

The National Geographic Channel’s Washington, DC headquarters has increased security after being inundated with terror threats over the upcoming release of the film Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden, according to a source.

The full-length feature film is the first dramatization of the U.S. special forces operation that killed the mastermind of the September 11 attacks in Pakistan last May.

According to a New York Post source, the channel has been bombarded with phone calls and blogs posts from ‘Muslim extremist groups’ warning that anyone airing a film like this is asking for trouble.

‘Enough threats have come in that the network is on higher security alert,’ the source said. ‘They have a huge public building with a museum and 1,600 people working.’

The movie, which focuses on one of President Obama’s most successful moments in office, will premiere just two days before the November 6 election, drawing fire from critics on the right who have accused National Geographic of being partisan.

It does seem odd that the Obama administration assisted in the production of this film on Osama’s death that will be seen by millions but apologized for a cheap YouTube video that nobody saw(?)

Interestingly, the National Geographic Channel is majority (67%) owned by News Corp (Murdoch) which also owns Fox News and the Wall Street Journal.

The swagger gets even worse. Fox News is reporting that Chris Matthews mocked and taunted Islam today, trashing Shariah and calling it unfounded extremism. Muslims apparently are fools per Matthews and need to be ridiculed. He lumps it in with Republican support and respect for religious belief and takes a position where both should be eradicated.

It is not odd at all if you consider the more than 50,000,000 anti-riot bullets sold to completely non-security departments in D.C.

If you have a riot only days before an election then a president who just recently gave himself rights to call for martial law takeover single handedly MIGHT do so, very much in the style of a Castro or a Chavez or a Ceaucescu or a Taliban to stage an illegal coup.

Obama killed osama way too soon. This film is late if it’s purpose is to capitalize on the “woo hoo” factor of Obama’s amazing kill. Obama should have killed osama much later and the film should have been partially completed beforehand.

And for someone who said he would stand with the muslims, he sure is shooting a lot of their hero’s. Who is this drone happy cowboy president?

Don’t know how, but wish Mitt could somehow work this into the debate Monday night. Maybe Benghazi will resurface – and hopefully TeamO pushing the video as the provocation – if Romney could ask how his administration could help with a movie that features the killing of OBL when he wouldn’t release photos of a dead OBL. Isn’t he sensitive to how muslims might respond to this? Isn’t this provocative? And yet he allows it — even aided its production.

If he’s asked pointedly about it, and it gets out in the OPEN, it may lessen the chance of a riot, I’m thinking. Because that could be the only thing he thinks will save his rear end that’s getting kicked right now and one of the reasons (other than getting him votes) it’s being released right before the election.

Of course, it first requires the moderator bringing up the subject.
