Yesterday Sesame Street told the Obama Campaign to take down the Big Bird ads.
On the Today Show this morning…

Robert Gibbs to Matt Lauer: “I don’t think the campaign has any plans to change that.”

Anything to try and distract from the Libya cover up, the 6 trillion Obama has added to the national debt, the fake unemployment numbers, and the Romney surge in the polls.

I got no problem with that.
Good luck to them.

all my concern over Zero’s imagined October surprise, in the form of political dirty tricks, is now ended. He’s got nothing. Team Zero has nothing. They’re out of ammunition. This proves it.

‘Sesame Street’ Asks Obama Campaign To Take Down Big Bird Ad
["Sesame Workshop is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization and we do
not endorse candidates or participate in political campaigns," a Tuesday
statement on Sesameworkshop.org reads. "We have approved no campaign
ads, and as is our general practice, have requested that the ad be taken
down."]

The Mainstream Media: Islamist Facilitators
[Dennis Wagner of the Arizona Republic broke the story on April 10,
2007 about PBS's censorship of the documentary, Islam vs. Islamists
from its America at a Crossroads series which debuted this week. The
film's producers, Frank Gaffney, Alex Alexiev and the veteran filmmaker,
Martyn Burke of ABG Films, Inc. have since presented in shocking detail
their painful protracted experiences trying to navigate the censors at
PBS and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting which funded the film
with $675,000 of the taxpayers' monies but now has chosen to shelve
it. In just the last week of public debate, there has been a firestorm of
outcry from the public who are demanding that oppressive methods of
editorial content control by power brokers at PBS be investigated and
the real story behind the shelving of Islam vs. Islamists be exposed.
PBS's exploitation of the public dime and the public airwaves for the
narrow point of view of the Islamist sympathizers with the exclusion
of the anti-Islamist Muslims is just now beginning to be understood.]

NPR’s Taxpayer-Funded Intolerance
All Americans, particularly those of Arab or Muslim
descent, should protest the firing of Juan Williams.
By EMILIO KARIM DABUL
[It was not Muslims in traditional garb who hijacked those planes on
9/11, and it certainly was not Muslim women in veils and wheelchairs.
If anything, an Islamist terrorist wants to blend in, not stand out.
However, it was not a traditional sort of terrorist attack I feared in this
case, but perhaps something unexpected: a traditional Muslim woman
in a veil, confined to a wheelchair, who was loaded with explosives.
That may make me guilty of an overactive imagination, but perhaps not.
Not that many years later, a young Muslim on an international flight into
Detroit tried to light explosives in his underwear.
I mention all this for one main reason. I grew up surrounded by Islamic
culture, went to Islamic events, and was used to seeing women in
traditional Muslim clothing, and yet when that woman appeared at the
Berlin airport, I was scared.]

Bill O’Reilly: Will NPR and PBS Lose Tax Funding?
[Writing in The Wall Street Journal on Friday, Sen. Jim DeMint cites the
following: The president emeritus of NPR, Kevin Klose, received more
than $1.2 million in compensation in 2008. The head of the "Sesame
Street" Workshop on PBS, Gary Knell, is paid close to $1 million a year.
Now that's not government money, that's private money. But it shows
you the earning power of "Sesame Street." The current PBS president,
Paula Kerger, got $632,000 in annual compensation in 2008. And the
list goes on and on.
Sen. DeMint points out that "Sesame Street" alone made $211 million in
three years from toy and product sales. So why on earth is the taxpayer
subsidizing PBS? "Sesame Street" can carry them.
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting is getting $420 million this year,
and President Obama wants to raise that another $30 million next year.
Two words: not needed.]

Big Bird’s involvement in the campaign has put the final nail in the PBS coffin. And I don’t think the Obama campaign can use the theme song from Sesame Street without permission – at any rate it seems Republican candidates can’t use a song if the artist objects…

Just say we are sending Big Bird to the Middle east so they will love us and they can be taught to share, count, spell and make bombs and suicide vests.
CookieMonster will be sent there because he eats bad food and too much and Moochelle feels he is a bad example of nutricous meals. She said if he doesnt change is name to Arugala monster then its off to the middle east.

Exciting new Obama talking point: There’s only one candidate in this race who’ll fight for Big Bird and Elmo
[............................]
Distraction has been Obama’s re-election strategy all along. Highlighting Romney gaffes, peddling empty symbols, running on picayune policies — in this way, Obama hoped he could run out the clock until November 6…
The “kill Big Bird” line is standard Obama fare. Because Romney thinks employers should be allowed to pay employees in cash instead of contraception, Obama and allies accuse him of trying to take away women’s contraception. Because Romney wants to cut Planned Parenthood’s federal subsidies, Obama says Romney is waging war against the abortion provider.
So it’s not new that Obama is being unserious. He’s been running a Big Bird campaign all along. It’s just new that everyone is noticing.

This is actually kind of funny. He has no idea that he’s basically flipping the “bird” (no pun intended) to the entire country.
He uses Big Bird to mock our flag? I guess he thought the Obama flag was disliked because of the stripes looking like blood, rather than the fact that they defaced the American flag.
What a bunch of friggin’ idiots.
Flintstone F. commented:
Republicans are in the Republican party.
Democrats are in the Democrat party.
Democratic is a different word. When a sentence can express both that a woman is a member of a political party and/or that she practices the democratic process, it’s a vague sentence. It’s the wrong word.
