Kirstin Powers weighed in on the debate question last night that pandered to women voters. Powers told Megyn Kelly on America Live, “Actually we’re more than our vaginas, believe it or not.”
Don’t tell us.
Tell Sandra Fluke and Barack Obama.

You know what takes away women’s choice? Obamacare. Mammograms and Pap Smears are only level C & D tests, which means that they will be lower priority than level A & B tests. And if you’re turned down? There’s nowhere to go. I can’t just decide, “Forget you (big insurance company), I’m going to pay for my own test” because there won’t be anywhere else to go.
And birth control – if it were truly cost effective for insurance companies, why aren’t policies that cover it cheaper than policies that don’t. I’d rather have a job that pays 30,40 50K +, and pay for my own personal needs, than no job but $120 in annual birth control.

While I’m ranting, what’s with all the misogynistic jokes on “women in binders”. Seriously, I thought we were past objectifying women. (I’m not really a spoil sport – but the Dems need to look at how they’re objectifying women… you know, hold them to their own standards and all).
Bill Mitchell commented:
IBD/TIPP has it Obama +2 today. Unfortunately for them, they are using a Dem + 7 sample which is pretty much impossible. They are only going to embarrass themselves.
Notice the only 3 polls showing Obama leading are using Dem oversamples:
WAPO – Dem + 9
IBD – Dem + 7
Battleground – Dem +4

Turns out Barack Obama is not so good on equal pay for equal work for women. A bit of post debate fact checking not panning out for Obama.

When polls are showing that Obama is further behind than ever today, I get why “the binders” are getting so much traction today. What else is their left for the liberals?
They make fun of the “binders” (that were compendiums of highly qualified women candidates for prestigious roles), and want them to shut up and take their birth control pills. This is exactly why I, as a woman could never be a liberal. I’m just a walking reproductive organ, or a useful tool for when the men screw up. See the line-up of “fall guys” for president pass-the-buck? ALL WOMEN.

Thank goodness someone has finally said it! I have been saying that for the last 4 years… well I say we are much more than just a uterus, but close. It is insulting to push the idea all we are only worried about our reproductive organs and free birth control, it’s insane and demeaning.
Charlie commented:
Guess I should say, I’m glad someone has finally said it on national TV!

Only a feminist and Leftist would consider such an idea (women being more than the sum of their body parts) as being something radical. While many people look to the stars and are awestruck, the average Prog looks in the gutter and swoons.
