It Took Obama a Week to Get to Joplin in 2010… It Took Him a Day to Get to New Jersey in 2012 …(A Week Before the Election)

Obama visited Joplin a week after the deadly 2010 tornado. (KC Star)

It took Barack Obama 7 days to visit Joplin, Missouri after a tornado wiped out half of the town and killed 120 people.
It took Barack Obama fourteen days to visit the gulf coast after the BP oil spill.
Obama declined to visit Tennessee after the historic 2010 1000 year floods.
Obama ignored the Texas wildfires when over 400 homes were lost.
And, of course, Obama ignored the calls for help from Benghazi.

But it took Barack Obama only one day to visit the hurricane damage on the east coast.
Then again, there’s an election next week.

no matter, in a week he can join the ranks of unemployed.

It’s all about the election, baby!

Oh but don’t you dare say it’s politics, oh no! Obama would NEVER use a tragedy to play politics.

  • Obama checked his watch. 6 days until the election? Time to “look” presidential.

  • Don

    Being aided by Chris Christie.

Blame lies with the press – MSM is shameful. This man in the White House and his minions are going to face a real day of reckoning.

Jake Tapper – Anderson Cooper – Bill Plant – Martha Radditz . . . all complicit in perpetuating this crime called BarackHUSSEINObama. Each dares to call him/herself a professional journalist?

” . . . How much can they ignore? Was it easy when Lawrence Sinclair was made a political prisoner, held in prison, held with threats of life imprisonment for crimes he never committed, had his benefits taken away, was hounded by Biden’s Delaware Syndicate to silence him, was hounded by Obamaniacs with death threats in being a gay sexual associate of Mr. Obama…….all to cover up Obama’s past? . . .”

” . . .For not one reporter to literally snap on a live interview where the message would get out, and to say, “Hey I’m not going to take this anymore, not going to cover up for Obama, because people are being murdered and I just can not absorb this without saying anything”, is a testimony in how absolutely animalistic all of this is from these reporters for Obama.

None of them are [sic] quitting, but keep collecting that paycheck and keeping silent as that is what is more important to them is their egos on camera and protecting this criminal Obama. . .”

For the record, he also abandoned Texas and Kentucky. Not to mention, I believe, Iowa…

  • Big Al

I dont mind Christie looking after his state but did he have to slobber all over Obama quite so much. Something about that slob has always bothered me…and, with all due sympathy to the peope of NJ, I am not prepared to concede this election to Obama just for them. Chrisities words have not been carefully chosen and thats being charitable.

  • Hugh

Don’t forget when Texas was on fire! Nothing! Obama is politicizing Sandy just by showing up since it is utterly inconsistent with his prior behavior for other disasters.

  • McCloud

He also blew off the Tennessee-Kentucky-Arkansas region during the massive ice storm of 2009. Over 50 dead, some without power for a month.

  • New Jersey apparently was Obama’s second choice after Mayor Bloomberg turned Obama down when he asked to come to New York. I think Christie should make a statement to the press that while he is grateful to Obama for his support of New Jersey this in no way reduces his support for Governor Romney.

Never came to Vermont at all last year when we were devasted by flooding from Irene – 14 towns entirely cut off, some for weeks.

It really is amazing how fast things get done with an election looming on the horizon, isn’t it?

  • donh

And Chris Christie deserves a 10 minute KISS ME FAT BOY loop for sucking up to Obama and turning his back on Romney like he never knew Mitt at all…..for 30 billion pieces of FEMA silver….>

That Kenyan 0bama is a real wanker, a despicable man who tells gargantuan lies, could use a Pinocchio nose to go along with those large Dumbo ears.

    how’s that Benghazi investigation coming
along CNN, MSNBC, CBS, and Fox et al??

oh wait, they’re still keeping it hush hush, what was i thinking.. 🙁

    excellent read..

    Made-Up Pictures From A Made-Up Man

[Now as the lies from Obama’s own lips ooze like pus from a gangrenous skin lesions we are to forget all else and applaud him for giving a speech and taking a helicopter ride over the storm damaged areas. The most absurd and insulting being his most recent, i.e., that he told Panetta and the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to do whatever it took to extricate Stevens, Smith, Woods and Doherty.

He, by his own lips is Commander-in-Chief; in street lingo that means “he be da boss.” Are we to believe that Obama gave a direct order as he claims by his own mouth and then his senior-most staff decided, “Screw that we’re gonna let them die”?]

    much more at link..

RINO christie: does standing next to this socialist extremist make me look even fatter?
Yes – and even more fat-headed.

christie and OBOZO = reviving the Laural and Hardy comedy team.
…NOTHING is funnier than RINO-socialist slapstick.

  • dwdude

other than west coast and northeast, it’s all fly over country to obama

  • donh

One final closing act of corruption to buy the election….. Obama bribing Christie for a BIG public smooch of an endorsement in return for fast and easy FEMA slush funding. They rushed it through before even beginning the damage assessments…and THE DAMAGE IS BEING HYPED. The Jersey shore looks NOTHING like Joplin…..The houses are nearly all still standing. A garage door torn off here, a broken window there, a few fallen trees, some boats lifted into the road…some sand to shovel. Its not as bad as the media is making it out to be, with the exception of the fire in Queens.

  • giamby

And, of course, he never visited Tennessee when they had their flooding.

  • bigkahuna

Romney needs to run a series of ads in Michigan, Penn. and Minnesota showing David Axlegrease promising to go on Morning Joe Bag o Donuts and the ditzy blonde and shave his mustache.

Use it against him and say If romney wins watchy Axlegrease shave his cheesy stache and eat crow.

I think they could change turnout by 5% easily in each state.

#8 Hugh, re: the Texas fires, if I’m not mistaken, didn’t the governor of Texas beg Obama to declare those counties a federal disaster area so funds would be released to help deal with them? And didn’t Obama NEVER give that declaration? I recall Conservative blogs noting the hypocrisy, because liberal Cali always gets their federal declarations of disaster areas when they have fires, but deep red Texas did not.

Let us not forget when the entire state of Colorado was in flames and when the California farmers lost all their crops from the drought to save the 2 inch fish.

    The WH was AWOL.

  • David

Notice how the media hasn’t really talked about the deaths. Focus is on Obama handling the situation. This is truly a police state

  • owl

If you did not watch it, but only read about it, you would be very surprised. It was 1000X worst than it sounds.

No excuse for the gushy, gushy Christie. Obama bounced up and down and touted how he called out this one and the military and did this and gave that directive and no one would be left behind.

The storm was bad. I feel very sorry for the people and hope they get help with getting their electricity up, loans, etc. This storm has been hyped as being so much worst than all the other disasters? BS. Even during Katrina the real damage was over in MS & AL. We have had horrible floods other times. Fires here in TX. On and on…………

I will never look at Christie the same way. Ever.

#10 Tom…………If you had watched him today, the odds of him giving Romney ONE good word was zip. Zero. If he could have sat in Obama’s lap, he would have. Obama? Eating it up.

if obama wants to highlight where he’s been we have to highlight where he hasn’t been. o picking the winners and the losers.
if people don’t notice the timing……now remember this guy…..–64

The ‘Caring’ President – yah, all he cares about his keeping is sorry *ss in the Whitehouse to finish the job he set out to do – destroy the U.S.A.

  • Dale

What I can’t understand is why George Bush isn’t out campaigning for Romney? We need more people to remember what real republican leadership can do in a time of crisis.

  • sarah

he never went to nashville during the flood there.

  • shadow

Talk about your no-win situation. Had Obama taken any longer, you all would be complaining about how he was too busy campaigning to pay attention to Sandy. It’s called ODS.

  • Laine

Joplin Tornado was May 22nd, 2011.

  • Westandfree

He had to make that 10 AM Congressional tee time before he headed off to Joplin……..

  • kelly

…and there were many of us in Joplin who could have cared less if he came at all–it was disruptive to the on-going rescue and clean-up efforts. This is Republican country. He and Jay Nixon saw an opportunity to campaign, never letting that crisis go to waste.

  • Hey wait! I think there are a lot of 1 %ers that live in that area so what’s Ole-bama doing messing with those kind of folks. I thought they were the problem with America……. Oh anything to look good! We are not all good people but even the worse of us can look good Right?
Shameful!!!!! Be sure to vote, unless of course you voted for the current president last election, if so, then you did the work last time. So, if you voted for Obama last election sit back relax and stay home let the rest of us take care of business this time…….. IF the person you voted for last election won and didn’t do the job it’s ok to vote to replace him this time.

  • Shadow, you missed the point completely as do most of Obama supporters. Let me skip all the facts about this situation, facts don’t seem to make a difference these days!
Let me say to anyone who is thinking or is sure they will vote to re-elect the Presdient:If you can count, then hold up one finger,
I will give you one reason you need to not vote to re-elect:
$5,000,000,000,000.00 debt in under 4 years the current President put this country over five trillion dollars in debt, it is that simple!
If you don’t understand Five trillion( I know it is hard for everyone to get their minds around 5 trillion( that is a 5 with twelve zeros when speaking in terms of money the 13th and 14th zeros are cents)
that is $1million per day for five million days, five million days is equal to 13, 680 years, In order to pay back just what the current president, alone, added to our debt we have to pay back $1,000,000 per day for the next 13,680 years….. Need another reason not to re-elect him? Just ask

  • Leroy Aderer

Weather conditions were unfavorable for a golf junket.

  • Kestrel

I thought Texas was going to secede from the Union so they didn’t have to put up with things like disaster relief.

    What happened to that plan?

  • Not so fast

Whoa Kelly from Joplin. I live here too. The President was in touch with local authorities the Monday after the tornado. THEY asked him to delay a trip so as not to disrupt the immediate needs for search and rescue and restoring power etc. He would have been there the next day if they had requested.

  • Steve

Sure hope the president is re-elected so the crazies don’t take over. Barack Hussein Obama 2012!

  • Russ Wilkinson

He’d been in the area of Joplin for the same thing 3 other times in that month. Kinda hard to keep going to a place that keeps getting hit.
AS for the oil spill he was trying to hold BP accountable, keep plans alive for expanding offshore drilling and dealing with the GOP on both fronts.
Considering the area of the Tennessee floods, what part should he have seen?
As for the TX wildfires? Please get your facts straight people.
AS for Benghazi, you should be looking at Congressman Jason Chaffetz. But then again he’s a Republican so why would you ever look where the problem started?

On idiot puts a bunch of lies together and all the bobbleheads get into a frenzy as if it was bukaki. (smh) When are you people going to quit being such idiots?
