Venezuelans lined up for hours in searing tropical heat on Sunday to vote in the biggest electoral test yet to President Hugo Chavez’s socialist rule.

Venezuela’s opposition presidential candidate Henrique Capriles waves to supporters after he voted in the presidential election pitting him against President Hugo Chavez, in Caracas October 7, 2012. Daniel at Venezuela News and Views says the opposition is voting en masse.

Venezuelan residents in the United States traveled in planes, buses, cars and even convoys to take part in the presidential election.

OT: why isn’t anyone talking about how Obama is trying to circumvent the WARN ACT with the defense contractors? The one where 40,000 layoff notices BY LAW should go out 2 days before the election, only now they aren’t because Obama paid them off!

If Hugo loses to the young guy, which I believe he will, the White House will order all flags at half mast, Danny Glover will go on suicide watch, Sean Penn will start drinking heavy, Michael Moore will go into depression, Oliver Stone will call it a CIA conspiracy theory, and the rest of us will rejoice.

Hugo will steal the election before he loses it honestly

Obama is trying to block Military Absentee ballots,

And Hugo has shut down the Venezuelan consulate in Miami.

Marxists do have a way to try to depress turnout against them.

    thanks for the info..

Obama his minions and puppetmasters are bound
and determined to screw up the election somehow..

When Hugo loses he can move in with and be supported by Sean Penn and other Hollywood nut jobs.

Venezuela closed its Miami office to make it more difficult for Venezuelans living in the US to vote absentee. South Florida has a large Venezuelan population and they were forced to travel to New Orleans in order to cast a vote.

my heart is always in deep for Freedom Fighters, I still well-up with pride when I review the Reagan years and aftermath. I still treasure JFK’s Inaugural words, “…assure the survival and success of Liberty…” and I still marvel when I see again video from The Fall of the Wall.

I still cry when I remember how America’s Liberals betrayed our allies in SE Asia, 1975-1979.
and I still cry when I think how Maobama’s regime betrayed Hondurans and Iranians.

Chile and Colombia have shown the way already, but what if Venezuela became the Poland of Latin America? I’m always ready for a miracle and to cry tears of joy.

Highly suspicious. You would think if Hugo doesn’t care how it turns out that his henchmen would. Weird. Unless the young guy is secretly anointed by Hugo????

    I dunno – just weird.

Makes my head hurt to try to figure what Communists are thinking.

  • calrox

wonder if the annointed one cast his absentee, or four for hi mentor . ..hugo?

You can be a citizen of two nations. It does depend on the nation’s laws.
