A massive 7.7 earthquake struck in Western Canada tonight 139 kilometers south of Masset, Canada.

    about 200 miles south of my home, it was felt here and we had a tsunami warning, though not much tsunami, I heard 30 centimeters..

    I’m in touch with friends on vacation in Maui. Stores and restaurants are all closed and locked, everyone evacuating. Some hotels are telling people to stay if they are above the 3rd floor.
    Gas stations are packed. Expecting the worse to be on the Airport side of the Island.

    I’m hearing they are expecting anywhere from 3-6 ft or maybe even 10 ft high – 3:46 CENTRAL, about 10:46 Hawaii time, and nothing yet – but too many cars in traffic jam too close to the shore, they are telling them to get out of their cars and get to high places, even over third floor of buildings, but the several lanes of traffic are jammed full and not moving.

    SHOULD not be more than 15-20 minutes to wait. The warning for Hawaii is “IMMINENT” and isn’t being downgraded as a few closer to the earthquake have been
