Paul Ryan: “As a Conservative I’ve Long Believed There’s Inherent Media Bias” (Video)

Republican Vice President candidate Paul Ryan was on FOX News Sunday this morning. He was asked about media bias. Ryan said,

“I think it goes without saying that there is definitely media bias… As a conservative I’ve long believed there’s inherent media bias. And I think anyone with objectivity would believe that is the case today.”

He should have said, “Well let’s see, Chris, media bias, okay. We can start with your father and his bias so obvious, blatant and destructive on CBS.” Just open with that…

  • EinTX

Sorry, just venting because I can’t always yell at the TV… How about, “Hey, Chris, did the ObamaMedia mention Fast and Furious, Benghazi attacks and the lies, etc., etc., etc.”
We all could go on and on.
It was a stupid question from a lazy man.

“And I think anyone with objectivity would believe that is the case today.””

“And I think anyone witheyesight better than Ray Charles and more intelligence than a rock would believe that is the case today.””

    There much better

nah, its no longer bias. It is full fledged propoganda. I’m a recovering liberal, was a dem until 2008, it was bad in 2008, now its even worse in 2012.

The entire American press is 100% in the tank for their boy, they lie, they alter video, they edit it to leave a certain impressive against Romney.

I don’t really consider NBC, ABC, SEEBS, Wash post, NYT etc, etc etc real “news” places, they are just an extension of the Soetero’s corrupt american administration.

I never supported Bush, and thought the media did a great job going after the stuff he did wrong. I assumed they would do the same against Soetero…. yea, I was stupid…. I realised, the MSM only going after certain people in power, namely repubs, conservatives, when a liberal, dem does the same bad thing, hey! its all ok. Now it makes me look back and think how much overboard did the MSM go back then, when they went after Bush, yet give Barry a free pass on the same policy.

So the people I used to watch & trust for years, decades, scott pelly, brian williams, diane sawyer, david gregory, etc, I now know they are lefty corrupt scumbags pretending to be impartial “journolists”. I don’t watch them, I don’t read them, I don’t trust anything they present until I verify it myself on the Internet or listen to the video clip they make commentary about. Even AP and Reuters who are wire services, after seeing them both use the same exact pose for Bibi Netanyahu, I don’t trust those lefty idiots either, especially when it comes to any political news.

the 60% of american that have little/no faith in the MSM. Count me as one of them. Lying snakes, all of them.

As for chris wallace, cannot stand the jerk. with his high pitched voice, idiot.

There is no longer a true media… is a propganda machine. Only real leadership will confront it and force it back to some kind of objectivity…..that and people demanding that these newsy game show hosts start reporting factual information. This country now truly needs a leader…..not a politician and game show host.

  • AnnaS

Agree with EinTX and as I posted on article above… Chris goes on to as “what is your strategy since you are so obviously losing?”

  • kato

No need to believe, Paul. Just do the math.

    2 + 2 = 4
    E = mc2
    Liberal = Liar

  • a former dem

so according to Wallace, we should just call off the elections, right? Do these highly paid idiots even have any idea of doing just how flawed many of these polls are?? Here is a prime example:

    Barry +9%

    and what is the sample??
in 2012: Dem 43%, Gop 34%, Ind 19% (+9 dem poll) this wasn’t even the case in 2008
in 2008: it was: 37% Dem, Gop 32%
    in 2010 was 39% GOP, 38% Dem
so in 2012 the think it will be 43% Dem?!?

In addition, 500K lost dems, 400K gained independents. But oh no, I guess they have to use 2008 numbers.

Its all about creating an illusion for mometum for Barry. Nice job MSM!

  • its long since past the bias stage. the media has become full fledged propagandists. they went from only covering stories that advance their political agenda to outright lying i.e. the zimmerman story to the recent people cheering ryan instead od romney con.

” And I think anyone with objectivity would believe that is the case today.”

Bias? They are hurting the Americans every time they lie or misinform the American people.

And it is a dangerous tactic because not only does it affect us, it is telling others that we are weak, disingenuous but more importantly the integrity and credibility in the world has failed.

And they only way that Obama can win is because of the liberal media bias. THINK ABOUT THAT, serious problems are being covered up by the media and in turn there are those who believe them. They are the biggest problem for America. And as the go, so does this nation. Shameful and it needs a great amount of Attention. Ryan sees it, so do we and I can only hope Obama will never again reap the rewards from LIARS AND CROOKS.

Mainstream media is threatening our country’s future
    […………………………………………………..] long article.

But all I want to conclude to this is that we face a fundamental danger here. The fundamental danger is this: I talked about the defense of the First Amendment. The press’s job is to stand in the ramparts and protect the liberty and freedom of all of us from a government and from organized governmental power. When they desert those ramparts and decide that they will now become active participants, that their job is not simply to tell you who you may vote for, and who you may not, but, worse—and this is the danger of the last two weeks—what truth that you may know, as an American, and what truth you are not allowed to know, they have, then, made themselves a fundamental threat to the democracy, and, in my opinion, made themselves the enemy of the American people.

And it is a threat to the very future of this country if we allow this stuff to go on. We have crossed a whole new and frightening slide on the slippery slope this last two weeks, and it needs to be talked about.

    Finally getting real

The situation has become beyond ridiculous. It’s time to take the gloves off and fight for the future of this great country

The bias has been around for far longer than you might think. A few years back I used a photocopy of a Salt Lake Tribune front page, in a show I produced about the history of aviation. Down at the bottom of the page was an article about Democrat bias in the newspaper business.
Oh yes, the headline, and the reason for using the copy was, LINDBERGH LANDS IN PARIS.

WEAK ANSWER…..You point out NBC Nightly News has become the political equivalent of a midnight cable channel infomercial selling the Obama stair master line of dietarty supplements. ….VERY uninspiring and demoralizing when the people who seek leadership take wimpy passes at socking the hell out of ancillary issues like media bias.
