Obama Reportedly Had No Time to Meet Netanyahu – But Took the Afternoon Off… He’ll Call Him Tomorrow

Barack Obama refused to meet the Israeli leader in person this week while he was visiting the US.
He had a campaign event and then took the afternoon off.
Obama was pushing “economic patriotism” today in Virginia Beach. (Yahoo)
He’ll call Netanyahu tomorrow.
The Daily Mail reported:
President Barack Obama is due to speak to Benjamin Netanyahu by telephone on Friday – a day after deputing Hillary Clinton to stand in for him by meeting the Israeli premier in New York.
Jay Carney, Obama’s press secretary, confirmed that the two leaders would speak as Netanyahu prepared to address the United Nations in New York. Obama left the U.N. before he arrived and is spending most of Thursday campaigning in Virginia.
The White House rejected an Israeli request for Netanyahu to meet Obama, either at the U.N. or in Washington – a sign of the icy relationship between the two men.
Barack Obama has at least four fundraisers to attend.
Obama had at least one fundraiser today in Virginia…
And then he took the afternoon off.
Tomorrow Barack Obama has at least three more fundraisers to attend in Washington.

Good. Israel would cease to exist without America’s support. Whatever you think about Obama, he is the President of The United States of America. Netanyahu needs to show more respect.
Israel wants us to spend our blood and treasure to attack Iran. We’ve been at war in the Middle East for more than a decade. We are broke. I’m not sure that’s the best use of our money right now.

This is a deliberate snub, and doubly so. Not only does obama snub Netenyahu by refusing to speak with him, but he then declares that he will only have time if Netanyahu takes the call on his sabbath. In Israel Friday is the sabbath day and is considered the weekend. obama knows this (or ought to) and this is done as a deliberate affront to our Jewish allies.
