Obama Bows to Islam But Refuses to Apologize for “Pi$$ Christ” Art Project

Barack Obama will bow to Islam but refuses to apologize for “Pi$$ Christ” artwork.
FOX News radio reported:
Religious groups are blasting President Obama for not condemning am anti-Christian art display set to appear in New York City and one Republican lawmaker said he is “fed up with the administration’s double standard and religious hypocrisy.
“Piss Christ,” once branded as a “deplorable, despicable display of vulgarity,” will be displayed at the Edward Tyler Nahem Gallery in Manhattan on Thursday. The artwork features a “photograph of the crucifix submerged in the artist’s urine.”
The artwork debuted in 1989 and was funded through prize money provided by the National Endowment for the Arts. The art gallery hosting the retrospective salute to Andres Serrano is privately owned.
Religious groups and some lawmakers have already started sounding off – and making comparisons to the controversy over a recent anti-Muslim film. The low budget movie “Innocence of Muslims” sparked violent and deadly clashes across the globe.
It also brought strong rebukes, condemnations and apologies from President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and a host of administration officials.
The administration tried to have the film removed from YouTube – but Google rebuffed their request. The State Dept. spent $70,000 on a Pakistani television advertisement rebuking the film. And the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff personally telephoned a Christian minister in Florida to ask him to withdraw his support of the film.
Rep. Michael Grimm (R, C-NY) wants to know why President Obama hasn’t denounced the exhibit and said he’s fed up with what he called the administration’s “religious hypocrisy.”

I guess the answer is to display a similar piece of art depicting the Koran in a similar medium. The parallel would be obvious but the reaction quite different.

Religious tolerance is not submission to islam.
Tolerance of islam consists of allowing them to settle here, build mosques, worship whatever they want and live in peace and harmony with us. We live with their calls to prayer and they, with our church bells. They dress the way they want, and we, the way we want. We all have freedom to practice our religion, but no one has freedom from other religions.
America, as a condition of coexistence, accept belief systems that differ with ours but we limit sectarian actions to the bounds of law. Catholics and Protestants do not burn each other at the stake. Jews are not sent to death camps. Hindus are not permitted to burn widows on their husband’s funeral pyre. Aztecs cannot cut out the hearts of their captives. Honor killings, like other acts of murder, are punishable as capital crimes. Wife beatings are prohibited regardless of what a cleric advises. Adultery is immoral, but it not a crime.
muslims who cannot tolerate religious freedom have the right to leave. If you have not yet come here, stay in Pakistan or Yemen or whatever dung hole islamic paradise offers you the life you deserve.

If Andres Serrano had any balls and truly wanted to be a memorable avant garde cutting-edge artiste, he would make a companion work of art called “PI$$ MOHAMMED”.
However, we ALL know that he doesn’t have the balls to even think about doing that!!!!

I think another commenter has it about right. We can put a small statue of Obama in a urine-filled urn and simply call it the “Piss Anti-Christ.” Right next to the mohammed statue in another urine-filled urn, called the “Piss False Prophet.” Let’s see how tolerant these dirt-bag, alligned-with-evil art lovers are then.

Hannity said this thing is coming back next week in the Northeast somewhere, so perhaps it’s time for us Christians to raise some holy hell, because the silent routine ain’t working anymore. It is not even Jesus Christ so who cares? It means nothing. And, why dont you know why they do that stuff since you supposedly gave us the Bible? Easy: because you didn’t and you dont know.
And, the proper answer is: “And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.”
That’s why. Jesus Christ calls them and YOU evil. He called his own apostles evil. And, worse part is NOT doing evil it is NOT coming to the LIGHT (Jesus Christ) to get it right.
