Monday is Empty Chair Day–

Michelle Malkin announced Empty Chair Day on Labor Day:

What better way to commemorate the Labor Day holiday than to send a message to the AWOL campaign-in-chief — and support Clint Eastwood, to boot!

Tomorrow, Monday, is the day.

Decorate yours any way you want it: Nobama stickers, Romney/Ryan yard signs, golf clubs, mom jeans, etc. Email/tweet us your best entries.

My decoration’s going to be “We own this country!” sign, in tribute to Eastwood’s best line from his speech.

Have fun! You know they’re going to call it racist, anyway.

    We live in a gated community, so I’ll simply place a lawn chair out front without signs or bumper stickers. That will show my support for”Empty Chair Day” and I know a number of my neighbors will understand what it means. GREAT idea, Michelle!!!!!!

    I watched the Eastwood speech and just thought it was odd. Now I realize just how brilliant it was. The empty chair is the equivalent of Dukakis riding in a tank. No one, especially Democrats, has forgotten that one. I don’t think we’ll forget this one either.

    PS. Romney/Ryan should take the empty chair on tour with them, place it to the side of themselves wherever they go and not even acknowledge it. The legacy media would go ballistic.

    If I were a Republican, I would be praying that this would NOT go viral. If I were a Republican, I’d be doing what I could to put Clint Eastwood’s speech behind me. It’s time to take your lumps and move on. It doesn’t matter if he was 100% on message–the execution of it was every Democrat’s dream. You can put ten million chairs in your front yards and it’s not going to repair the damage that Eastwood did. It’s a little like putting lipstick on a pig. If the Democrats had done the same sort of thing, I would be giving the same advice: Let it go.

    Well Cliff then I guess it’s a very good thing that I am not and have never been a Republican. There will, however, be a chair in my yard tomorrow and lots of tomorrow’s after that. This IS my country and Obama IS my employee. It’s beyone time for a change.

    As I said in a previous thread when “Empty Chair Day” first came to my attention I opined I might pull out an old reclining lounge chair I was going to recycle; one I affectionately nicknamed the “Slack @ss 2000″.
