That was quick… Obama’s convention bounce is gone.
Romney leads 47-46.

Rasmussen reported:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 47% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns 46% of the vote. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided.
This is the first time in a week that Romney has held even a single-point advantage. See daily tracking history. Romney is now supported by 18% of white Democrats.
Romney has solidified the GOP vote and holds a 77-point lead among Republicans. That’s slightly larger than Obama’s 72-point advantage among Democrats.

I’m curious to see some polls with Gary Johnson thrown into the mix.

Meanwhile, Gallup is polling Adults, not even Registered Voters to tell us that Democrats now enjoy a 10 point lead in who is better able to ensure our prosperity.
I’m sorry Gallup, but less than 2 months from the election and you are polling ADULTS??? Lord, Obama really did get to you didn’t they? At this point, how does polling non-voters tell us ANYTHING about the result in November?
Gallup is the ONLY major pollster STILL polling REGISTERED VOTERS in their presidential polling.

“In other news….the attention span of most Americans is now so short they cannot stay focused on one bright shiny thing for more than 5 minutes, the Obama administration announced an initiative to provide all citizens with Ritalin to treat Adult Attention Deficit Disorder”

Barry’s bumbling in the Middle East ain’t gonna help him in the polls. Americans are murdered overseas and the Won goes to Vegas to casmpaign and raise $$$. Priceless.

@Bill Mitchell –
You might recall that several weeks ago the Obama Campaign took Gallup to task because their polling methodology was showing Obama losing . . . Gallup refused to change their methodology, so the IRS threatened them with a lawsuit.
Coincidentally, Obama has been the “winner” in the Gallup polls ever since.
I am a scientist. I can assure you that there is no such thing as a coincidence. Something stinks to high heaven and as far as I am concerned, Gallup has entirely lost every ounce of credibility they ever had.

Rasmussen has Romney 47/46 over Obama in Missouri also. That’s ridiculous. Obama is going to get nowhere near his narrow loss of 5000 votes and virtual 50/50 split with McCain. He is going to lose Missouri close to 52/48.
Oldrathergate Redneck commented:
Actually, Rasmussen has Romney 48/45 over Obama in Missouri, and I believe that is better than Obama can do.
Ace commented:
Gallup does 7 day polling, so they’re still back in the convention.

Axel Grease has another Gallup poll in his shoulder bag post dated Friday that shows Obama +6% …. Greasy Rod claims ” More Americans now see Romney disqualified for leadership after his foreign policy gaffe criticising the Commander in Chief before all the facts were known. “…and it has to be true because EVERY professional journalist talking head in the news media parrots the same assessment.

Former Navy SEAL identified as embassy attack victim
Glen Doherty, a former Navy SEAL from Massachusetts, was one of the victims of the deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, a family friend confirmed to Fox News.
Doherty is the latest victim to be identified. The U.S. government earlier confirmed that U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and Sean Smith, a foreign service information management officer, died in the attack.
The name of the fourth American who died in the attack has not been disclosed. {………..}

Welcome to Real-ville. .where unemplyment rising, arabs rioting, and obama sucking his thumb. .
Keep this in mind. . OBAMA had to go raise cash rather than deal with middle East crisis because his funds are drying up. . .

Thank goodness. During the 2008 election, I followed all the polls, and hated what Rasmussen was saying. But after, it turned out that Rasmussen was closest of all. So now I pay pretty good attention to Rasmussen.
Alana commented:
They send him out to raise cash because he can’t do anything else anyhow. Jarrett and the others actually run things.
BurmaShave commented:
Well, that was quick.
Obama’s support went from 50% to 46% in less than a week.
At this rate Romney may win in a landslide.
mushroom commented:
Thanks for the correction, Oldrathergate. I misread the headline. I do think Obama does better than 45% because Nixon vetoed the photo ID law. All the folks in St. Louis City are still on the one-man-five-vote schedule.
