Today Obama Returns to School District He Stiffed for $25 Grand for Four Years

The Obama Campaign finally got around to paying its debt to the Clark County School District in July… Four years after the campaign rally in Las Vegas.
Today Barack Obama will return to hold a rally at the Clark County School District, the same district he stiffed for $25,000 for four years.
They better demand a check first.
The Nevada Journal reported:
President Barack Obama is set to hold a campaign rally at Canyon Springs High School in North Las Vegas on Wednesday, his first visit to Southern Nevada since Nevada Journal revealed that his campaign left taxpayers here on the hook for the costs of events at local public schools.
Obama’s campaign, Obama for America (OFA), left the Clark County School District with nearly $25,000 in unpaid bills from two rallies at Bonanza and Coronado high schools in 2008.
Neither CCSD nor the Obama campaign would confirm for Nevada Journal the campaign’s plans to pay for Wednesday’s event.
In 2008, CCSD billed the Obama campaign $53,116.12 for the Bonanza and Coronado rallies. Obama for America originally paid $28,484.40 of the bill, but left $24,631.72 unpaid.
That remainder was not paid until June 2012, following multiple Nevada Journal inquiries. The bill was for 500 hours of school police officer overtime, providing extra security for the rallies.
As Victor Joecks added:
“Obama’s quick to call for funding education with other people’s money, but takes four years to pay his campaign’s bill to the Clark County School District.
In contrast, Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio have spoken at Clark County School District properties recently, and the Romney campaign has already paid its bill.”
Don’t expect the Democrat-media complex to report on this.

$25K expense imposed on the district twice is the cost of a teacher’s salary for an entire year. Obama just killed a teacher’s job. Elsewhere when he stiffs police departments, he’s killing police jobs, forcing them to lay people off and not replace via attrition.
Barack Obama is killing police and teachers jobs.

Part of a long-established pattern: BO’s history of stiffing schools/education:
1) Partnered with Bill Ayers for Chicago Challenge – together they gave money to pet Left organizations – including ACORN – rather than to improve Chicago’s schools. @$120million.
2) Denied black/poor families vouchers to allow their kids a private education, dooming them to DC’s despicable public schools – while merrily sending his own 2 to only the finest.
3) Promised a Kenyan school – that was named after him – that he’d be giving them money. They’re still waiting years later. A Christian organization filled in where Barry failed.
