The Obama Administration was driving to cut off the pensions of 20,000 non-union workers.
The Daily Caller reported:
Emails obtained by The Daily Caller show that the U.S. Treasury Department, led by Timothy Geithner, was the driving force behind terminating the pensions of 20,000 salaried retirees at the Delphi auto parts manufacturing company.
The move, made in 2009 while the Obama administration implemented its auto bailout plan, appears to have been made solely because those retirees were not members of labor unions.
The internal government emails contradict sworn testimony, in federal court and before Congress, given by several Obama administration figures. They also indicate that the administration misled lawmakers and the courts about the sequence of events surrounding the termination of those non-union pensions, and that administration figures violated federal law.

There are so many stories like this with the O administration, it is hard to keep track of them all.
I wonder how many of those Delphi workers that were screwed will still vote with O?

Except for the UAW everybody involved in that bailout got screwed.
Those companies were stolen from the rightful share holders.

Please dear God, let us have an August, September and October surprise…the problem is, which scandals to pick with this corrupt administration, and will the complicit mainstream media ever, EVER do their job?

How can this even be legal? Watching the Chysler bond holders get screwed was shocking enough, now this! Lawlessness doesn’t even begin to describe the despot in OUR White House! Puts Hugo Chavez to shame!

While it is shocking enough that a president and his administration circumvent and break
the law continuously, it is even more shocking that nothing seems to be done about it.

This would make a nice campaign ad. Not just for Romney, either. I’d sure like to see this get picked up on and made clear as glass, and widely disseminated. Not in a union? Be careful who you vote for.

The unions’ errand boy directed his Labor Dept. to waive a requirement that certain large companies give 60-days notice of impending layoffs. The errand boy is afraid that there will be hundreds of thousands of layoff announcements right before the election as a result of sequestration and the mismanaged economy.
The WSJ reports that Lockheed Martin alone could fire up to 100,000 workers.
This waiver is of questionable legality, and companies probably wouldn’t take the chance of disregarding the rule. Still, it shows how desperate — and dishonest — the subprime grifter is.

Hello? We DO have an opposition party, right??
Mahdi Al-Dajjal commented:
To millions of American voters, since this was not reported on the evening news, it didn’t happen in real life and is a fictitious event contrived by evil rightwing Republican nutcases in a vain attempt to smear Obama and his Administration with their slander and lies.
Isn’t a media entirely controlled by one political party just wonderful?
