Mitt Romney ripped Obama today in Ohio. He told the crowd,
“If your child gets on the honor roll, don’t thank the bus driver.”
Right on!

Right On Romney. .Right On! Remind Obama about the value on the individual’s hard work and dedication to succeed?
And Speaking of Obama’s “You Didn’t Build That”. . . look at America. .
Our Country, Our Economy, Our Culture and OUR Constitution
and Obama – - YOU DIDN’T BUILD THAT
Nor do you have the blood of former American black slaves in your veins.
On a VERY SERIOUS note. . please look at this from the author and College President Dinesh D’souza who shares a very insightful perspective about OBAMA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juGoLKZjPQU&feature=player_embedded
D’Souza is so articulate and presents insight without emotion just facts.
And go see the movie 2016 from the director of Schindler’s list and Jurassic Park – – –
go. . .you, your family, friends – – –
go with an open mind and then decide. . .
Who is Obama and where is his compass leading us?

He said the part about not owing good grades to the bus driver earlier this week at one of his other stops. That’s okay. Few of us outside of those who were there in the audience at the time heard about it because the news was dominated by the Akin thing. In fact, because this time it’s making only the weekend news, which has a much smaller viewership, he can use it next week if he wants to and it will be new to those who hear it then.

Wow. Keep it up, Mitt!

This line of attack is going to work right up to the election.
It hits a nerve with the American people like nothing else does.
Americans know that people’s hard work and ‘smarts’ does in fact get them ahead.
They don’t hold that against their fellow American, they applaud it.
Obama opened the wrong jar of worms with this one.
TXPatriot commented:
And the bus driver who is making money for his or her family by getting up at dawn and driving unrulely little brats to and from school should be commended for his or her hardwork as well as he/she is being a productive citizen rather than sitting on their duff waiting for the welfare check to come in! When we WORK, everyone wins!
TXPatriot commented:
Romney should add as well that what Obama wants is for everyone to get a D regardless of how much they work. After all, it’s unfair for someone to get an A when others are getting F’s. So if you just make it so that everyone gets a D, then it’s “fair” for everyone.

Mitt is hitting Obama right and left. Loving every minute of it.

It’s interesting for me to see Indian (from India) American politicians arising, and that they’re doing it within the Republican party. I’ve some experience with Indian Phd researchers, and have found them to be very interesting men. They tend to be blacker than most American blacks, very creative, very well-educated, and their prose and speech patterns are almost poetic. The ones I knew were also great cooks and very loving daddies.
They are also people who love the American Dream. In your clip, Dinesh D’souza talks a little about the difference between the American Dream and the dreams Obama has taken from his father. What I abstract from his comments is the notion that Barack Obama is fundamentally confused about the source of America’s wealth and power.
Barack Obama, who was raised to be a Red Diaper baby, at bottom thinks that American wealth was built on the same theft of resources as the wealth of the colonial powers. He fundamentally fails to understand that Americans have built their own wealth.
That’s the same justification that socialists use to justify their thievery: it’s ok for socialists to use the government to take other people’s money, because those people stole it, themselves. Socialists do not recognize that human creativity, ingenuity, and effort is the source of a nation’s wealth once an industrial revolution has occurred.
I guess I’ll just have to go see the movie, to find out whether Mr. Dinesh D’souza and I are really thinking along the same lines.

When Romney gives his acceptance speech it needs to be done in the most austere of settings.
We have hit rock bottom as a country and we need a leader who will take us back in the other direction.
He needs to stand before an American flag and tell us that we have an incredible amount of hard work ahead of us, it will not be easy. The easy ‘Hope ‘n’ Change’ mantra was bogus. We will need everyone to think and work smart so that we can fill the hole that’s been dug. America was and is great, it will be great for a long, long time to come.
Make the speech simple, but powerful and effective. No more BS.

This is OT but in reading this one article about the shooting in NYC the only problem with gun violence in this incident came from the cops. If it were an old Keystone Cops flick it would be funny. In real life, no.

I totally agree, but when my child has a devoted, caring bus driver, I do make a point to thank her/him for getting my child to school safely….

Romney needs to rephrase this line.
“don’t thank the bus driver” should be “don’t congratulate the bus driver.”
I too an thankful for good bus drivers.

Romney, Ryan, & the conservative media need to debunk the left’s marxist meme that rich nations and especially our country are wealthy & modern because of our nation’s people’s genius, inventiveness, hard work, & superior values as compared to the poverty wracked scat holes that are the turd world (Oopps I meant third world).
American economic interaction with the turd world until has been a minimal part of our gdp. Furthermore the vast share of trade in the capitalist world is between developed countries or those that are rapidly industrializing.
Debunking the marxist left’s meme that the US got rich off the third world is economic horse manure. The US got rich off of hardwork, innovation,& the entreprenurship of Americans free to pursue their self-interest not the frothings of wackodemics in the turd world or at Harvard or Yale faculty lounges that mutatated thelimited mind & unstable psyche of an abandoned child’s psyche like that of b. Hussein and his debauched mentors.

“Romney hates bus drivers!”
Dave in NYC commented:
This is just plain stupid. Of course the kid accomplished the achievement, but he still needed to get to school. You don’t congratulate the bus driver for making the honor roll, but you still thank him for driving your kid to school. More importantly, you recognize that the existence of the bus route saved you time and money, and in some cases it actually enabled your kid to go to school at all. And then you recognize that the bus costs money and the driver’s salary (not to mention the school itself) cost money, and those things were paid for with taxes — which may or may not have come from you depending on how much you paid into the system.
