I’ll be traveling to Tampa today for the RNC Convention.
This year the Tea Party Patriots is sponsoring my travel to the convention.

The Tea Party movement spontaneously formed in 2009 from the reaction of the American people to fiscally irresponsible actions of the federal government, misguided “stimulus” spending, bailouts and takeovers of private industry. Within the first few weeks of the movement, Tea Party Patriots formed to support the millions of Americans seeking to improve our great nation through renewed support for fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government, and free market economic policies.

Tea Party Patriots is a national grassroots organization that exists to serve and support the thousands of local organizations and millions of grassroots Patriots throughout our nation. We provide logistical, educational, networking and other support to thousands of community-based tea party groups around the country. Tea Party Patriots state and national coordinators serve your local grassroots groups, support you with the tools and technology you need to address your local issues, listen to your voices, gather your ideas, and together help shape the overall direction of our national movement. Working in a truly grassroots fashion, we have already changed the political landscape of America.

Tea Party Patriots is 100% grassroots, 100% of the time.

I will be attending the Tea Party Patiots event on Tuesday.
Defending our Defenders: A Salute to the U.S. Military

The Tea Party Patriots host this event to honor men and women in uniform. There will be former members of SEAL Team Six, Army Rangers, Gold Star parents and modern-day patriots, along with a few surprise guests. 4-6 p.m. at Liberty Plaza, 180 S Morgan St., Tampa.

  1. God bless the gold star parents.

    Thank you for your sacrafice.

    Lets Roll!

  2. Stay SAFE.

  3. Be sure to pack an umbrella.

  4. To those attending the RNC in Florida:

    1. Florida has their infamous “stand your ground” law.

    2. Florida has reciprocal Concealed Carry Agreements with most states. Check here: http://licgweb.doacs.state.fl….

So, know your rights and take precautions.

  5. Lets turn some blue states, RED!

  6. Have a safe trip. Looking forward to some optimistic reports. Hopefully…

  7. Oh, good! I’ll be watching from the sidelines. If the circus comes to town, in the form of the usual suspects, #occupy, Code Pink, Anonymouse, etc., please document it, make sure everybody else keeps their cool, and have some fun at their expense.

  8. PS. I suspect that California is in play. The populace is still all Liberal, with a tax-and-spend philosophy, but they expect some bang for their buck, and they’re not getting it. Romney could win in this state. He’ll have no coattails because the Republicans and Tea Parties have few candidates.

  9. Stay safe and hold on! Hurricanes are nothing to joke about.

  10. OT, but has anyone here seen the Obama 2016 movie? What do you think of it? I haven’t seen it talked about here, unless I missed it. I have been reading lots of comments about it on HotAir and it seems to have made an impression on lots of people who hadn’t really known alot about Obama. Hopefully, it will help wake people up.

  11. Be careful in Tampa. The useful idiots from the OWS and anarchist wings of the DNC will be up to no good.

  12. Another on Akin: The impact on one’s political career, of what is seen as an extremist view, does swing both ways. PoliticO (generally an Obama shill) does have a pretty good cover on how Bernie Shaw of CNN, as a 1998 presidential debate moderator, asked a key question, the rape question, of candidate Michael Dukakis, where Dukakis’s response essentially killed his political ambitions:

“Shaw, looking commanding and stern, began: “By agreement between the candidates, the first question goes to Gov. Dukakis. You have two minutes to respond: “Governor, if Kitty Dukakis were raped and murdered, would you favor an irrevocable death penalty for the killer?”
Dukakis answered instantly and smoothly. “No, I don’t, Bernard,” he said. “And I think you know that I’ve opposed the death penalty during all of my life.”
He had been on the record for years and years on that subject. Massachusetts had no death penalty and also had one of the lowest crime rates of any industrialized state in the country. Dukakis didn’t believe in capital punishment. He had seen all the studies and he didn’t believe it deterred crime.
So should he throw out that principle because the hypothetical victim was now his wife? Is that what principles were all about? They were good when others’ loved ones were involved but not good when your own were involved?
In the press room, the murmurs over Shaw’s question now turned to mutters over Dukakis’ answer. “He’s through.” “That’s all she wrote.” “Get the hook!”
Dukakis’ poll numbers would drop from 49 percent on the day before the debate to 42 percent on the day after the debate.”
Bush went on to win the presidential election by around eight points, and won by an electoral vote landslide.

  13. Now that I’m on the subject, doesn’t the word SHILL well define about ALL of what is called the Main Stream Media?
    From Wikipedia:
“SHILL: A shill, plant, or stooge is a person who publicly helps a person or organization without disclosing that he has a close relationship with that person or organization. Shill typically refers to someone who purposely gives onlookers the impression that he is an enthusiastic independent customer of a seller (or marketer of ideas) for whom he is secretly working.”

  14. Yes JR SHILLING exists on all spectrum of media…Mr Hoft has FAILED to disclose that his personal family friend Ann Wagner stands to be promoted should Akin vacate his nomination….and now after shooting his fellow comrad in the back Jim wants to go make a mockery of REAL men of honor who live by a GENUINE code of combat ethics by offering his salute to REAL PATRIOTS….upgrading his moral bankruptcy filing to chapter 11.
