Flashback: Bill Clinton Admits Paul Ryan’s Budget Is a Good Plan (Video)

It’s going to be difficult for the Obama Camp to beat up on Paul Ryan’s bold budget plan that would reduce the deficit and save Medicare when Bill Clinton praised him for it last year.

ABC reported:

The day after that loss in New York, ABC’s Jonathan Karl was with Ryan when he encountered none other than Bill Clinton back stage at a forum.

Clinton greeted Ryan warmly and suggested that Ryan “give me a call.”

The former Democratic president warned Ryan that the victory by Democrats could be a recipe for inaction in a Republican-controlled House.

That turned out to be an accurate prediction, but Clinton’s approach to Ryan showed how his embrace of big ideas, if not the ideas themselves, are respected among many Democrats.

   [A few weeks ago when he heard unemployment went up and few jobs
   were created, Obama remarked: “The economy is headed in the right
   direction.” So I guess Mr. Obama, congratulations are in order…Mission
   Accomplished!

   The only question is “What was that mission?” I am Obama’s College
   Classmate. From the day Obama was elected, I’ve warned the nation
   that his goal was to follow the detailed plan of Cloward and Piven, two
   former Columbia University professors, who advocated overwhelming the
   system and collapsing the U.S. economy to weaken (and eventually
   destroy) capitalism.

   I warned America that my old college classmate would do that
   by fomenting jealousy, hatred and division between the classes;
   demonizing business owners; redistributing wealth from those
   “greedy” rich business owners to his entitlement-addicted
   Democratic voters; and as a great big bonus to this plan, dry
   up the income stream of Obama’s political opposition- business
   owners who contribute to conservative causes.

   The ultimate goal of this plan? Force Americans to our knees, to curse
   capitalism, and beg for help from government. Then, in response to
   our pleas, we will gladly let Obama and big government take control
   over every aspect of our lives.

   For anyone who doubts how well his plan is working, just look at
   the state of the union President Obama has created. We are in
   themidst of an economic Armageddon which Obama not only
   could have prevented, but whose policies have made much worse.
   The collapse is far worse than most Americans understand… yet.]

   Cloward & Piven

   [First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists
   Richard Andrew Cloward and his wife Frances Fox Piven (both longtime
   members of the Democratic Socialists of America, where Piven today is
   an honorary chair), the "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the

   And you have to love the irony.

   The Clinton’s hate Obama. I just got done reading Klein’s “The Amateur” and it was like reading the story of the many dens of thieves…..

   And I still think the Clintons And their ilk were worse than Obama – at least Obama has been stupid enough to keep his inner circle to be like Valerie Jarret, his wife, his mother-in-law and David Axelrod. Obama has never groomed effective loyalists the way Clinton did….

   I will never forget Clinton’s Cabinet Secretary Donna Shalala defending his sexual abuse of a White House intern – Monica Lewinsky. The way that guy somehow got all these feminist women to defend his sexual abuse as a sitting American President…..

   at least the guy and his team were good at building alliances (yeesh – at what costs? What blackmail? I mean – they were major wheeler-dealers. Compared to them – Obama really is a rookie)

   in case you didn’t know.. Bill Ayers Weatherman and Black Panthers
   worked together back in the day, not to mention the Black Panthers
   and the Nation of Islam being joined at the hip.. yes, all the radicals
   Barry sought out in his youth are connected to one another one way
