Long lines formed at the Colorado rally for Paul Ryan today.
The Lakewood rally packed in thousands of supporters.
At one point during his speech a supporter yelled, “Look no teleprompter!”

Paul Ryan’s “Radical Plan” Isn’t So Radical
[Although Mitt Romney has given the thumbs up to Paul Ryan’s Plan, he has also made it clear he has his own plan that’s not identical. Even so, there has quite naturally been a lot of talk about the Ryan Plan. It has been called “radical,” “extreme,” “scary,” yada, yada, yada.
Thing is, Ryan’s Plan isn’t radical at all. In fact, if it were implemented as written tomorrow, it might not be enough to save our country from a debt-driven crisis down the road. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad plan. To the contrary, it MIGHT be enough to get the job done and even if it’s not, it’s probably the biggest politically palatable step in the right direction that anyone could come up with. Ryan also deserves a lot of credit for actually attempting to come up with a plan to deal with our problems when the Democrats are so hamstrung that they can’t even handle putting together a budget.
In other words, Ryan is being called “radical” mainly because he’s actually trying to come up with a realistic plan to govern, which is something the Democrats refuse to do. Here’s more from Investor’s Business Daily on what Ryan actually wants to do.]

When you speak from your heart, teleprompters are not needed. Prez Pantload even took the prompters with him to speak to 1st Grade schoolchildren! Make sure no prompters/earpieces allowed in debates to help Barry avoid his usual stuttering struggle to finish a sentence.

Media Bias History Repeating Itself Against Romney-Ryan
[Bias: As powerful as Romney's choice of Paul Ryan is, the mainstream
media's power — from moderating the debates to censoring interviews
— is being wielded against it. Fortunately, Ryan has a potent weapon:
the truth.
To say that the establishment media's entirely predictable onslaught
on Mitt Romney's running mate, Paul Ryan, is nothing new would be
an understatement.]

#11 bg fully agree
and #1 Sarah. . .thanks for the Newt link. . awesome. . .
Ryan scares Obama and the Litards because he is a conservative with conservative values. . . who also understands numbers. . .
We need to limit the size of government. . .less spending and less governing. . . rather provide for the common defense, secure our borders and promote trade so that investors and innovators and small business can get to work building a brighter future. . .
This is what brought immigrants to our shore and sure will if we stay the course. . And you do not need a teleprompter to articulate this. . .unless you are a wee-weed-up president like Obama!
NObama in November.

Not hard to do – - speak without teleprompters. . . unless you are:
Inept
Inexperienced
Incompetent
or have a deep contempt in your heart for the country and the American people
That’s right . . unless you are Obama

Looking forward to Sarah’s link…sounds great! Speaking of Newt…
Have been meaning to confess I had been preferring/hoping other candidates would be Veep…and it turns out Ryan is better, most likely, than the others would have been.
The others were equally bright and articulate, but they didn’t have what I think has energized Romney and added vitality to the ticket: Ryan’s youth. Nor does it hurt to see a young family – small children – running around. The children/grandchildren of R&R that we’ve seen on TV remind us of the beauty of young life and the lives, in fact, that our decisions will most affect.
I think that component has really mattered. Additionally, I think it showed courage and wisdom for Romney to take this fight right to Team BO and make it about the issues they refuse to discuss. Issues they can’t avoid with Ryan.
The Dems have forced us to make a very clear choice in November: will we choose to revitalize America as we’ve always known and loved her, or attempt some new, frightful creation that’s been proven to fail each time it’s been tried…?
