Rep. Allen West (R-FL) upset members of the radical Black Caucus after he sent Chick-fil-A to a weekly meeting. CBC Chairman Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL) told The Huffington Post that, despite the incident happening six months ago, it is still fresh in their minds and every member was offended.

Today Rep. Allen West responded to Alcee Hastings and the Black Caucus.
“When I brought in the Chick-fil-A… at the end of the meeting, there was nothing left.”

    ROFL How great it would have been if Col. West had stopped off at the public park and picked up a sack of dog turds instead of Chick-fil-A! They would have wolfed those down just as easily – and probably complained about the freshness!

    … WHY were they ‘offended’? It would be nice if people would finish their supposed points.

    Any of these CBC members brought up in the south (as I was ,VA. ) know good and well that CFA closes on Sunday.

    They’re also aware that it’s because of their Christian beliefs.

    CFA has never tried once to hide that..if fact, they’ve always promoted it.

    In researching this subject (that means I have read and heard more than one source) I learned that chicken is a common food the Black Caucus has… so, I’m not looking for racist snide remarks in response to my question in #5. I agree with #8 and I am searching for actual truth. Were they offended because the company of CFA is Christian? Or were they offended because it is a ‘cheaper’ dining experience? Or?

    Allen West is such a great guy. He never backs down or plays politics. I also wish he’d be the VP pick. Most would point out that he doesn’t have enough experience, even though he was in a leadership position in the military for years. Obama, on the other hand . . . right–he is SO qualified.
