Pelosi told fellow Democrats to skip the DNC Convention this year.
Run for your lives!
Stay home and campaign instead.
The Politico reported:
House minority leader Nancy Pelosi says that Democratic members should stay home and campaign in their districts rather than go to the party’s national convention in North Carolina.
“I’m not encouraging anyone to go to the convention, having nothing to do with anything except I think they should stay home, campaign in their districts, use their financial and political resources to help them win their election,” Pelosi said in an exclusive interview for POLITICO Live’s On Congress, a new weekly show to be streamed live on POLITICO’s website and broadcast on NewsChannel 8 on Wednesdays.
The California Democrat suggested that since Barack Obama is an incumbent, there is less of a need for Democrats to attend the convention.
“We nominated a president last time. We have an incumbent President of the United States. We’re very proud of him. There certainly will be enough people there to express that pride, but I’m not encouraging members to go to the convention no matter what the situation was, because they can be home. It’s campaign time. It’s the first week in September,” she said.
Uh-huh. Keep telling yourself that, Nancy.

P.S. It’s nice to see someone admitting that obama is the incumbent. If it wasn’t for this (and one or two pictures of him standing behind a podium) I’d have thought that he was the fresh challenger from Chicago/Hawaii/Kenya/Indeonesia/make me an offer.

Urging your own party members to stay home must mean more Marxist planks are going into the platform and she doesn’t want any opposition from people running on the platform. They need a Saturday midnite session to get this all done, to make the end around method consistent with the Affordable Eugenics act of 2010.

What else is she doing? She’s telling the elected officials with responsibility to their constituents to stay away from the national convention of their own party, to be absent to the big policy-making discussion. They should just go away, work on serving her interests, and do nothing to influence what’s going on behind the curtain.
She doesn’t want elected Democrats and interested Democratic people from the local level to get together, and possibly try to influence the policies of the Democratic party at the national level. And if they fall for it, they will have learned another lesson in learned helplessness.
She is telling them that, if they disagree, it’s not their party, and national policy is not their to control, influence or even something on which they need to be heard.
The Democratic Party at the national level is all about learned helplessness.
