Majority of Likely Voters Believe Obama Has Changed America… For the Worse

A majority of Americans believe Obama has changed the country for the worse. Only one-in-three believe Obama has changed the country for the better.
The Hill reported:

Two-thirds of likely voters say President Obama has kept his 2008 campaign promise to change America — but it’s changed for the worse, according to a sizable majority.

A new poll for The Hill found 56 percent of likely voters believe Obama’s first term has transformed the nation in a negative way, compared to 35 percent who believe the country has changed for the better under his leadership.

The results signal broad voter unease with the direction the nation has taken under Obama’s leadership and present a major challenge for the incumbent Democrat as he seeks reelection this fall…

…The feeling that Obama has changed the country for the worse is strongest among Republicans, at 91 percent, compared to 71 percent of Democrats who support Obama’s brand of change.

Strikingly, 1-in-5 Democrats say they feel Obama has changed the United States for the worse.

US employment numbers have certainly been affected by Obama’s failed policies.

The civilian employment-to-population ratio is down nearly 5 percentage points.

Obama’s re-election bid depends upon whether or not he has addicted enough people to lifetime disability or welfare. Period. Example: I had a 23 yr old female patient that had 1 episode of lower back pain that resolved in 3 days. X-Rays negative. No complications. I recently received a request from her disability lawyer to assist her in receiving disability payments. For spinal disability. For life. 23 yrs old. Do you think SHE will vote for Obama?

Problem is, probably at least half will vote for Obama again, even if it is just to get free “stuff” promised them. No problem trading free “stuff” for our freedom.

Several of my relatives still think they are going to get free health care with no streings attached. The media continues to run interference and cover for this criminal administration.

Then why would they vote for him in November? 56% is enough to hand the election to Romney. ROMNEY 2012

  • If this is true, and I think residents of states like Arizona, Alabama, South Carolina, and Florida would certainly think so, the election cycle is over, and Romney will cruise to victory. The reality, however, is that the number here is probably too high, and these states and others are in a wait state to find out whether a friendlier administration will come in starting in 2013. If that doesn’t happen, however, these and other states may start to explore their options to regain some sense of sovereignty, and some aren’t pretty. The analysis here:

Unfortunately by the time the 1/3 that have been dumbed down enough to believe 0bama has improved this country along with all the dead people that ACORN registers to vote, that’s enough to win the election, especially when the only thing the RNC can produce for a candidate is a whiter version of 0bama.

Those that would vote against 0bama, because lets face it nobody is voting for Romney, are likely to stay home due to lack of interest or more correctly lack of a REAL choice.

Yes, it is striking that only 20 percent of Democrats believe that Subprime has made this country worse.

It’s probably an indicator of how many Democrats are parasites. The parasites don’t care about jobs or punishing deficits or the cost of health insurance. They live off of public money. No wonder over 90 percent of blacks and college professors vote Democrat.

This is why I believe the polls showing this race close are BS. This is the same type of polling that showed Carter 9 points ahead of Reagan this far out. Most people aren’t even paying attention yet so they just say, yeah, I will vote for Obama.

But when the day actually comes, not so much.

Today’s news – Supposedly, this is the way it is:

Swing states poll: Amid barrage of ads, Obama has edge
    Mitt Romney: 45% BHO: 47%
    By Susan Page, USA TODAY

In a new USA TODAY/Gallup Poll of swing states, an overwhelming majority of voters remember seeing campaign ads over the past month; most voters in other states say they haven’t. In the battlegrounds, one in 12 say the commercials have changed their minds about President Obama or Republican Mitt Romney — a difference on the margins, but one that could prove crucial in a close race.

At this point, Obama is the clear winner in the ad wars. Among swing-state voters who say the ads have changed their minds about a candidate, rather than just confirmed what they already thought, 76% now support the president, vs. 16% favoring Romney.

“We gave them new information,” says Obama campaign manager Jim Messina. “Romney had been out there claiming success as governor,” but Democratic ads have prompted voters to “take a look at his record” on job creation and as head of the private-equity firm Bain Capital. Messina also credits a $25 million buy for a positive ad “about the challenges the president inherited and what we had to do to move this country forward.”

To be sure, Obama’s ads have done more to win back Democrats than to win over independents or Republicans: Thirteen percent of Democrats say their minds have been changed by ads, compared with 9% of independents and 3% of Republicans.

Romney pollster Neil Newhouse calls the findings unsurprising. “It is expected to find that more voters say their views have changed about Mitt Romney; they simply don’t know him all that well,” he says. “On the other hand, there are few voters who are going to say their views have changed about President Obama. They know him pretty damned well.”

Obama and his allies have outspent Romney’s side on ads so far by almost a third. Although the TV spots didn’t start earlier than in recent elections, there have been more than ever before — including a negative flood from the new breed of super PACs — and they are continuing without the traditional summertime letup.

In the 12 battleground states, the race is all but tied. Obama leads Romney 47%-45% among 1,200 registered voters in the poll June 22-29 — a tick closer than Obama’s 48%-44% lead among 2,404 voters in the rest of the USA over the same period.

The swing states survey focuses on a dozen states that aren’t firmly aligned with either Democrats or Republicans. That puts them in a position to tip the outcome in the Electoral College. The states: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin.

  • After taking to task the biases of all the Dem media polling, I have to point out that this Hill poll is biased to the GOP. There are more men than women and more GOP than Dems in the pool – neither of which matches reality even among likely voters. Move the figures about three points toward Obama.

I know several people who will vote for O again, and one who thinks that the President should be given unlimited powers in his first term.

Two things matter in polls at this point:

Overall popularity and outlook on the economy.

Obama is well below 50% approval. A president has never be reelected with such a low number at this point.

The unemployment rate will not improve. The economy is going to slow coming into the election.

Obama really has no chance other than to start a war or a giant riot. He’s toast.

For all you hope and change idiots that thought this was the light that would free your souls from the darkness that chained you, thanks for everything. Thanks for all your votes that have transformed my country into the sink hole that it is today. Thanks for the millions of fellow Americans that are homeless, unemployed, going hungry. Thanks for the thousands of young men and woman that have died in endless unconstitutional, oil grabbing wars. Thanks for drones that circle the skies, spying on myself, and neighbors, we are so much safer, so what, we gave up a little more privacy. Thanks for the new health care coverage, it is a steal, so affordable and will force all those unemployed workers living on fixed incomes to pay their fair share along with their penalties .. But the best, thank you for the millions that will get free healthcare, the illegals that have gotten amnesty and the borders being left wide open for every one to cross as if all countries are their home country. No more borders, what a nice way for us to mingle with each other. Thank you for the weapons program to Mexico. The ammo companies and gun companies saw an increase in sales since Obama has taken office, especially to Mexico, Fast &Furious. That is about the only companies that had increase in production since 2008. Thank you for no child’s behind will be left behind, obesity cause. Moochelle Has taken great strides in pushing our children behinds into shape throughout the nation. There is legislation barring super size, fast foods, restaurants from wide loading the citizens behinds. Thank you Moochelle for looking out for the people’s behinds. And thank you all for giving us the One, that can swat flies with his bear hands, name 57 states, stand in Hawaiian, Asia , travel back in time, from 2010 to 2008, signing documents, loses his law license, birth certificate, social security card, selective service card, college records, thesis, senate filings, documents. This is one man that is so brilliant he can hardly keep track of the whereabouts of his lifes documents. Thank you for giving us this exceptional composite of a man. One that has given this country so much heartburn that most stomachs are on fire. Let’s all bow our heads and pray that this one trick pony will ride off into the night and take his bag of tricks with him and never to be seen or heard of again. We will have the memories if any of you that voted for this trickster miss him…. Memories that will no doubt last a lifetime…

The war goes on and the dead are buried. We are struggling to bring

They claim 35% think Obama has changed America for the better – I dispute that number.

At any rate, enough of them voted FOR him knowing what he’d do, to make his election seem believable, anyway.

They are all Marxist who voted for Odrama Queen. Period. Whatever else they c all themselves.

And there is only one definition of Marxists: There are two poor peasants, Ivan and Boris. The only difference between them was that Boris had a goat and Ivan didn’t. One day, Ivan came upon a strange-looking lamp and, when he rubbed it, a genie appeared. She told him that she could grant him just one wish, but it could be anything in the world.
Ivan said, “I want Boris’s goat to die.”

That so-called “35%” – they are all Ivan. They’ll do anything to kill “Boris’s goat”. In a strictly yellow-bellied way, of course.
