Yee-Hah!
Hank Williams Jr. released a ditty recently dedicated to American freedom and liberty. The song “Take Back Our Country” includes this line:
“Hey Barack, pack your bags, head to Chicago… Take your teleprompter with you.”
Enjoy.
The Hill reported, via Free Republic:
Getting dropped from ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” telecast doesn’t seem like it’s done much to tone down Hanks Williams Jr.
The controversial country crooner’s new album, “Old School, New Rules,” is out Tuesday, and judging by just a few lines from some of his new tunes, it sounds as if Williams is as feisty as ever.
Appearing on Fox News Channel’s morning show, “Fox and Friends,” in October, Williams said of a golf game in which
President Obama and House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) teamed up, “That’d be like Hitler playing golf with [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu.”
Williams confirmed later in the interview that he was indeed comparing Obama to the late Nazi leader, telling anchor Gretchen Carlson, “I’m telling you like it is.”
A press release about his new album includes a track list and some lyrics from the record. In one ditty, Williams sings, “Barack, pack your bags, head to Chicago … take your teleprompter with you.”
He also sings, “Don’t tread on me … political correctness has run its course.”
Looks like another smash hit for Hank!
